That's great to hear...!

I think it was 2 years ago this month we did our hike up Angel's Landing in Zion with her "sign". :)

Sounds about right. As slow as the time went it does seem like yesterday. I look at her today and you'd never know how sick she was. I did a book of photos for her and it amazes me how far she's come. And again can't thank you enough for the amazing tribute.

Off my deck last winter

While in Ohio during the week, one morning I got up really early and drove the two minutes to some property owned by some family to get sun rise photos.

The old farm house. No one lives here now, the family that owns the house uses it for hoarding auction stuff.

The rental truck that I drove the whole trip. It rode really nice and there was room for five adults to sit comfortably in it. If it wasn't for the fact that they cost 41k for a crew cab, I would love to have one.

Looking down into the valley as the morning glow shows.

As I said, they are the definition of hoarders. The house they live in, I never actually seen, but if it is anything like the front porch of it, I don't know if they can actually live in it. Whenever a vehicle dies or needs too much work, they take it to the farm and park it.

I almost didn't go out to take photos because of the fog. Glad I did.

Took this photo because of the background hills and valleys.

The photo was taken up a lane to an upper field.

Having issues with photobucket, will do more photos tomorrow at work.

Since photobucket and PP seems stable, lets finish what I wanted to post.

There is a barn to the left and bottom of this picture.

Through a hole in the siding of the barn.

So back to the hoarding thing. Instead of junking a van that wasn't worth fixing, the people who own this farm just parked it under the barn (after signing paper work they wouldn't sue the dealership for letting them drive an unsafe vehicle on the road). If it wasn't for the newer van, this would be an awesome photo with the old tractor (there is four more Ford tractors rotting in other barns).

Cows and sunrise.

The rental 2015 F150 and a 70's F250 Ranger (doesn't run with junk being stored inside it).

The Newer ford was in focus on the one above, I put the old ford in focus for the next one.

The one mile long lane (part of it) to get to the farm house.

Junk Mustangs rotting below the farm house.

More junk Fords

This station wagon would be fun to get fixed up and made into a sleeper with a big motor.

Another part of the lane going to the farm house.

Getting creative.

The fog was thick and I thought about not even going out.

Driving back to the hotel, I stumbled across this landscape.

The hotel was stayed at was in the middle of no where, it was awesome.

This was our hotel.

All of us went back later that day and I took more photos.

I have never seen a open cab combine before. It isn't used anymore.

My beautiful wife with my growing daughter inside.

The countryside with no fog.

It would be awesome to get some of this lumber to redo my fireplace with a surround and mantle made out of this.

This was from earlier that day, more junk cars.

An old Ford pick up.

Another one I liked

I actually ordered this one printed on glass.

I walked the mutt after today's game, and took this picture of a porch in my neighborhood.

Two thoughts:

1. When it comes to being NFL Fans, this is one confused household. :dith:

2. The Patriots are scheduled to play all three of these teams this season. Two down, One to go. :coffee:

Just got back from a camping trip to Baxter State Park in Maine. This shot is on our return paddle Monday morning and might give an idea of just how spectacular the colors were.

My daughter Anne got into Reykjavik in the wee small hours today. She has all her great photo gear for four serious days taking pictures but only had her 6s with her this AM when she walked into this:

I've never seen a more perfect (double) rainbow.

Cheers

I stumbled across a few others I've always liked while looking for that one.
