In Celebration Of Tom Brady, Bill Belichick & The New England Patriots

Rob Gronkowski's teams had a record of 128-37 in the 165 games he played (including playoffs), which is the second-best team winning percentage (.776) for a player in NFL history, according to the Elias Sports Bureau (minimum 150 games). The only player with a better winning percentage was former Patriots and Broncos center Dan Koppen (.781). Patriots left tackle Matt Light (.771), receiver Julian Edelman (.769), Packers/Dolphins tight end Marv Fleming (.763) and Brady (.763) with the Patriots and Bucs complete the top six.

Good stuff, but there's not enough defense of Vince's speed and explosiveness. It's like they're talking about Ted Washington or William Perry. Vince? With 3 Vinces rushing and 2 Vinces jamming at the line, you're left with 3 DS in patterns with 6 VWs in zone. You can basically eliminate the short middle of the field because of passing lanes/height. You're left with QB DS having about 1 second to make a read and get a pass off, with no margin of error because of the height difference in any contested catch situation.

Plus, a wildly underrated factor is that the DS C is getting hit by VW on every snap, immediately. If he doesn't muff snaps from nerves early, he's muffing them from damage and exhaustion very quickly.

Yeah I was going to reply about how Vince was deceptively fast, but got caught up in the hilarity of 11 VWs on the field.
