Although Sherman was fined by the league for that ugly play on the Bills' kicker, the refs won't be disciplined for their hideous management of the incident.

It was entirely the refs fault too. They were right not to throw a flag on Sherman because they forgot to blow the whistle in the first place. If you watch the play, Sherman is way off on timing his jump and the officials just let the play go. The Bills even snap the ball and Carpenter attempts the kick then fakes an injury (no flag for that either). It was a complete mess caused by pathetic officiating.
