Server Upgrade and Board Upgrade

It's rough today, too. Impossible to post and read posts from thread to thread.

And, as I've seen mentioned before, there's this "double post" issue that keeps intermittently rearing its ugly head ...
 
I still can't post in a few threads. That error messages won't let me .

Thanks I haven't had my iPad working in over 12 month I logged on tonight while watching the Pats special and lo and behold it works again. Thanks for all you guys do!!!!!

Well, not for the hardware part.

But when the board itself gets upgraded, I won't know if we will be able to have things like the Casino until I know what version of vbulletin we are going to and what mods are available.

I didn't notice any struggles during the Chiefs game. Are we on the new "beast" server now?

I don't think so. Austin promised to keep an eye on it yesterday, and I think he curbed the migration activities for the day. I did notice some issues during the late game last night.
 
Doesn't feel like the new server yet. No updates on CP, but there is a Chefs game tonight, so just a warning that there may be slowdowns this evening.

Will the casino bot suffer when you kill it off? It's really important to me to know that it suffers after all the suffering it put me through.

I look every day, it's still Powered by vBulletin® Version 3.8.0
Are we getting an upgraded verion also?
 
Well he is upgrading the hardware first. That is what has taken all this time is copying the massive databases to the new hardware. Vb won't be upgraded until that is done, and they'll probably be done first. I assume the plan will be to go to version 5.
