None other than Jack Easterby, hired to come in and consult, has taken over the Texans. First he fired GM Brian Gaine. Then he put BO'B in as GM.
Now he's fired BO'B.

Strange turn of events. Now Easterby is in full command.
Easterby was the Pats' character coach/chaplain who quit/walked out 1.5 years ago after the RKK rub-a-dub incident.

Wow. Surprised.

He's been known a super-ambitious guy everywhere he's been. BB brought him in to help the team with the Hernandez episode. The Pats, BB, were pissed when he took the Texans job.

So...looks like the best BB offshoot to date coachwise is actually Mangini. ROFL

Its like that thing of if you are a coach getting hired you are usually going to a really bad team with bad management, so its pretty hard
to turn a place around unless you get some miracle QB or something, but you usually have about 3 years to do it or you are hitting the road.
Its not like the old days or the Bengals keeping a coach for years with a bad record.

I'd like to see Houston lose a Bunch of games. It's one way the Patriots could make the playoffs, if they win 9 or 10.
