This show is too much work to watch. I need to go back to watching "Three's Company" and other mindless shows for my entertainment. :)

An interesting (minor) details was how the head of the Dharma Initiative gave himself a different name than that which he was referred to off-camera.

 just found that interesting.
He used a bunch of different names in the movies and off camera.

But remember... Juliette is Darhma. She came to the island.

Richard and the rest of that group are "the others" who were on the island already when Dharma started up.

And remember... Richard doesn't seem to age.

When he went back to see Locke when he was like 5 or however old he was, he looked the same as he does now. Was that a timetravel, or does Richard not age? Course, when Ben first meets Richard when Ben is a kid, Richard looks the same as he does now.

So obviously, "the others" have some connection to the island that those that came to it later don't.

No, Juliette is not Dharma.

She was recruited after Ben had killed all the Dharma people.

Richard was present when she left the US to first travel to the Island. He had her drink that weird cocktail remember?

Richard is the only one of the Dharma era "others" that we know of. Ben was Dharma and we really don't know where the rest of the group we've seen came from.

Who knows how many people were brought in on the submarine before Locke blew it up.

As far as Richard not aging, I think that he's "unstuck in time" in a similar manner that we saw the rest of the cast do this week. He doesn't shift at the same time they do, don't ask me why, but if he bounced through time in the same fashion, what appears to be years for us could be months for him.

So Ben was an Other (although he wasn't born there) who was chosen Jacob... Locke is not an Other, but he's been chosen by Jacob.

That must be part of the basis for Whitmore's hatred of Ben.

dumbess show eva. Why do some of the people jump to a new time but not others? Leaky hydrogen bomb? Pleaze....

A question for you U.S. based Lost fans:
I am in the U.K. and we have just had the season 5 opener (double bill) - very enjoyable btw.
Which episode are you on in the U.S. ? Are you ahead of us in the U.K. ?
