Looking at the Patriots - 2020

Just as I thought...he needed to be re-taught after 2 wks off.
I am not sure its that. I think he is seeing different defenses and his reaction time is slow to recognize the coverage and make the right read. I kind of wish we would go away from that type of offense and simplify things for him. He has never been a cerebral QB. He doesn't audible. He is more of a reaction guy that relies on his athleticism and big arm. We really need to tailor this offense more to him.

Strange.

I don’t seem to remember any animosity or snarkiness when Brady had to have rather regular work with his QB guru Martinez over the years.

I dont remember Brady having 2 td's and 7 ints over a 3 game period. But I think a Qb working out with a coach to get better is a bit different than Forgetting how to throw a football in 2 weeks. Then again, we were talking about Cam.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick is a master of motivation. He may have found a new way to motivate his players.

Albert Breer of SI.com reported today that the Patriots will listen to trade offers for “almost anyone” on the roster.

First, almost any team would listen to offers for almost anyone on the roster, because only a small handful of players are truly untouchable when it comes to a trade. The Patriots currently have no such players who would be never on the market. So it’s not really necessary for any coach to make it known that few if any offers would be ignored.

Second, while the official trade deadline doesn’t arrive until Tuesday, the practical deadline has come and gone, as to any teams that hope to have their new players to fully participate in practice in advance of a Week Nine debut. Other than the Browns, Bengals, Rams, and Eagles, each of whom have byes in Week Nine, every other team presumably would have done a deal by now, if they were going to do one.

So maybe Belichick is letting the word of a willingness to listen to offers for “almost anyone” to ensure that he sends a message to everyone that what has happened this year is unacceptable. While some may welcome an opportunity to join a contender, most Patriots players have been indoctrinated into the Patriot Way, and they’d potentially respond to the message that the coach is willing to dump any, some, or all of them by stepping it up.

Coincidentally or not, Breer’s article opens with the extended tale of how a 2019 deadline deal for receiver Mohamed Sanu, shipped from the lowly Falcons to the contending Patriots, completely derailed his career. The morale of the story is that getting traded may not be a good thing, and the Patriots quite possibly are using the threat of a trade between Sunday and Tuesday as a way to get the absolute maximum from their current players given that a critical game is coming up on Sunday in Buffalo.

Or....he is just saying he will listen to offers for almost everyone.

Yeah. He forgot how to throw.

A line I’ve fully come to expect from you.

He’s not working on foot, shoulder, follow through mechanics. He’s actually being told in order to throw you need to have a football in your hand.

You are a true piece of work.

Oh sorry, I forgot when Brady didnt throw for 5 td's last year in a game and we win by 20, that you were always defending him and not saying he was done...So to be clear at this point, Cam cannot play bad enough for us to just say, he is playing bad, and that its ok if no matter how bad he plays, we will have to defend this, yet if we defended Brady last year, we were enemy number 1. Is this the assessment going forward, just so I know how amazingly hypocritical you can be? Do I get to say the bat signal is going up anytime people like you and others freak out because someone said Cam is playing worse than any QB in football? Does this work for all players, or just the ones you choose?

Nobody is saying you can’t criticize anyone.

You’re mocking people for stating facts: Cam is struggling. He’s getting assistance. Something Brady did countless times with never a mention of critique. In fact, he was universally praised and came out of it every time playing better.

Do what you want. I’m giving Cam the benefit of the doubt. Just like I did every time for Tom.

lol, no you are saying that you can make snarly remarks about bat signals, but if I say something that everyone who has ever seen a football game can say that Cam is playing worse than any QB in football. To compare what Cam is playing like this year with anything Brady ever did in his life is as silly as anything I have ever read in my life. AS far as mocking....well, lets just say, read replies to my posts. I mean can you at least pretend not to be a hypocrite? If Cam had played here 10 years, of great football, hell, even good football and had a bad game....lets say he had a 77 Qb rating, maybe 2 td's and a pick and missed a couple throws...then yeah thats a different thing...that is not what is happening. AS I said, Brady got torched for when we didnt win by enough unless he had a 120 QB rating. It got to where if he missed a pass it was talked about for a week. Its just funny how things swung so far the other way with Cam.

Agreed. I refuse to believe he is as bad as he showed last week. If there is one thing this BB coached team can do is adjust. It is not always on-the-fly, but the adjustments always come that make them better. They will sort some of this out, I have no doubt.

I made no mention to bat signal here.

All I said was Cam is seeking help, just like Brady did.

Go off the rails all you want.

Off the rails? LMAO....the fact that Cam is being compared to Brady is so off the rails its not even a train anymore. AS I said, when I said last year that maybe some of the issues is guys cannot get open and that is why Brady only had 4100 yards and 25 td's I was met with anger and OH MY GOD stop defending his 88 QB rating, he is playing awful, to now its. Well ok Cam is 34th ranked QB this year, but its ok, he just needs help. lol.

Its a shame that you say stupid shit like that. My theories about you being a nutjob are showing more and more.

I'm almost afraid to reply to your post, but here goes... as I said in a previous post - if a person has an issue with you, that person might have an issue. If a whole forum seems to have an issue with you... Well, you know the rest.
