Looks like you folks up yonder are about to get raw-dogged by Mother Nature. Whiteout conditions for almost all of New England on Saturday.

Big storm hitting us tonight through Friday morning, calling for 4-9" of snow which really means 12-24" of snow. These weather people suck at their job........lol.

I've been watching to the forecast on both the Boston and Portland. The Portland stations are reporting it like just another Norteaster with over a foot. The Boston stations are reporting it as we are all going to die.

My sister in Northern Maine is just buried from the last few weeks. She has been experiencing between -35 to -45 degrees the last month or so as well over the last few weeks.

I'm south of Portland. It's like 2 different states in several ways between us and The County.

I am impressed you know about the County, bravo and brownie with ice cream on top! I am at the very top, 10 miles from the Canadian border. But yes, it is.

That's because we were always tougher than you Boston pussies

I had friends in Holton, made a trip up there once. Appalachia has got nothin' on those folks.

you live up that way? There's about 3 weeks out of the year that I could handle that part of the state.

Yeah,I am from the Northern Maine woods. I like how people think that is Bangor but nope, go up at least another four hours and you are where I am from.

I can handle the snow it is the hot as hell heat of the South that is a %^%^%.

where exactly? I automatically think Millinocket and Skowhegan when I start thinking that far north. I've got the east part of the state covered, all of my mother's family was from Eastport

Go further up. I am pass Caribou by an hour. A number of my relatives I see Canada from their yards and can cross the river over when it is the dry season. * mind you that is not encouraged* Also have a bunch of relatives in Canada. We are talking about the St. John Valley now which includes Frenchville, Madawaska, Fort Kent, Sinclair . St. Agatha, New Canada, Allagash and more.

My family has Aroostook County pretty much covered but especially the very tip of state.
