I love how you guys twist yourselves into pretzels. Benching Butler was the singular dumbest coaching move in SB history. Only topped by Bill bringing the guy back ... LOL

Bill is the one that benched him in one of the 9 biggest games of his tenure as HC costing the Pats a SB win and a three-peat. Him bringing him back only shows how stupid he was for benching him in the first place. So which tangent are you sticking with here? Bill made a stupid mistake benching him and then is stupid for bringing him back? Clearly that makes no sense so I'll take that as an innocent typo.
So is Bill stupid for a) Benching Butler or b) bringing him back. If you go with a) you must therefore be delighted in Bill's decision to bring him back?
Here are some "facts": Nick Foles: 28-of-43 for 373 yards passing and three TDs/one pick. 106.1 passer rating, averaged 8.67 yards per attempt.
Ergo, it's a great decision. by Bill to bring him back. Got ya. Glad we got there in the end!Bill is the one that benched him in one of the 9 biggest games of his tenure as HC costing the Pats a SB win and a three-peat. Brady's stat line was better - 500+ yards, 3 TDs, no picks but his dummy coach cost him his greatest SB performance/win.So Foles outfoxed the Great Brady?? Yikes....And he also managed to catch a pass for a TD. Tom......well........

LOL. It has. This thread has taken a turn akin to cock and ball torture.
Amendola was standing literally right in front of him, even if he totally missed the wide-open James White read. Jenkins had to cover two of the best chain-movers in the game that year.pure conjecture(butler playing would have led to a "w") vs. a factual observation about who was open? yeah...i'll take facts every time.
and his "dummy coach's" defense bailed him out in several shit playoff performances of his too.Brady's stat line was better - 500+ yards, 3 TDs, no picks but his dummy coach cost him his greatest SB performance/win.
LOL. Brady had the best SB performance in SB history only to see it go down the toilet because of Bill's asinine decision. But that's ok, keep twisting. This is fun.
One play vs a player who didn't play at all? It's funny how it's twisting to talk about one play where Brady clearly made the wrong decision.
The twisting is trying to change the argument away from that.
Look at the play.
Not vs anything. One play vs a player who didn't play at all?
Yeah that's twisting and Brady PTSD at its finest.
Brady had several bad plays like any other game but cannot you not admit he was the best player on the field that night and he was let down tremendously by his defense punctuated by Bill's decision not to play Butler. Not vs anything.
I am only talking about that play. No disorders here.
Can you not admit that play was Brady's fault?
