Most of us are amused at Brady's new milestone. I consider it a longevity award, but I was curious how this compares to other pocket passers. I looked at QBs who played a long time (10+ years) and weren't known to tuck it and run. It seems to be a little more than longevity-related and something to be sort of proud of.

Brady 1,000
Bledsoe 764
Marino 87
P. Manning 667
E. Manning 558
Brees 762
Flacco 811
Rivers 572
Romo 238
Pennington 465

Never would have thought Brees only has 762 yards rushing.

Mahomes is going to be better in virtually every category by far in 10 years than all those great QB's. Amazing!

come on. It is kind of amusing. that is an average of around 3 yards per game over his career. He was stuck 997 for like 3 games. I know he is not supposed to run, but that is a fun stat.

Brees and Rivers both shocked me. Thought they’d be double Tom.

Throw in all the yards lost -3 kneel downs and he’s probably closer to 1500.

I did a quick look and couldn't find an answer.

Brady has lost 160 yards to kneel downs since 2006.

Did anyone notice that TFB+ didn't simply kneel down on the final play but burrowed forward?

Don't ever think the 1,000 yards didn't mean something to him.
