Is it too soon to talk about a 1st round pick for Zappe once Jones is healthy?
I know you're joking, because Zappe would probably currently get you a 5th, Maybe a 4th rounder. We've seen it over and over, a player we think is good enough for a 1st rounder, ends up getting you a 5th, 4th rounder. Now, if Jones is still on the team, and the Patriots win the championship with Zappe as the quarterback,Is it too soon to talk about a 1st round pick for Zappe once Jones is healthy?
i will now start calling my round, little cats "nuggety"...❤ their breed standard is a "cobby" body(Exotic Shorthair). i never thought i'd love ANY word more than that one to describe them. but @Roberto71 has done it!!Stocky

Actually funny you should say that we thought about naming our Assuie Nugget lol.i will now start calling my round, little cats "nuggety"...❤ their breed standard is a "cobby" body(Exotic Shorthair). i never thought i'd love ANY word more than that one to describe them. but @Roberto71 has done it!!
it may be. i've never heard it used that way though. i adore it!!!I thought it was a very American term? We’d use it in Rugby a lot for any smaller bit stocky, hardy player. One such player who used to play for Ireland was nicknamed Nugget.
awesome! i might have to use it myself.Actually funny you should say that we thought about naming our Assuie Nugget lol.

Who do you want?I know this much. If Zappe is the quarterback for the Patriots Monday Night, and the Patriots beat the Bears in Foxboro, the local and international news (sports and otherwise) will be saying the Patriots starting quarterback is Zappe, he is great enough to win, and Then, there will be a national controversy about the Patriots starting quarterback job. Me, I don't care. Just keep winning, Patriots, no matter who the qb is.
Who do you want to see start?Lazar has our answer

The Patriots rookie quarterback's decision-making and processing speed impress once again.www.patriots.com
Guess that's why I make the big bucksZappe has NOT shown us a better arm.
The rest of your post, ugh.
JimmyG got them a 2nd after 1 1/2 good games, and looking horrible in pre-season games before that. Zappe has looked good for 2+ games, so I'm thinking 5 first rounders.I know you're joking, because Zappe would probably currently get you a 5th, Maybe a 4th rounder. Zappe would probably get you a 3rd rounder.
I’ll be honest with you I kind of fell for it at first, however the more I read it I sense the sarcasm…Chevss454 please tell me you didn't take me seriously
Sounds like Mac wasn't even cleared to play Sunday, so seems like he might be a bit farther off than that. But certainly he has the potential to be back for Chicago.Totally guessing....
Mac is back this week against the Bears. He was close enough last week to make the trip. If this is the case, Belichick gets to see Mac in the evolved offense we have watched Zappe do well in against increasingly difficult opponents (Bears/Colts/Jets). Then the bye week. 2-1 or 3-0 and Mac performs well he continues with Mac. If Mac performs poorly or even just not as well as the Zapster and the "controversy" gets extended. Easy peasy.
Now watch Mac never start another game for the Patriots.
Probably the one who gives the Patriots the better chance to win. Against the Bears, I'd have Mac Jones start, if he's healthy. If he's not 100%, I'd take another chance with Zappe, and starts Jones the rest of the season. But, we'll see. I don't want one over the other.Who do you want?
Definitely!!!!you could argue that the Patriots' best path is to keep both
