He's a highlights monster, and tremendous against the runs and short zones. I want to see more consistency and development in range-y and denial pass coverage before I anoint him as a superstar, but I like the development I've seen. Last year at this time I was not nearly as high on him as everyone else, but he showed a ton in 2021. I have no reason not to expect continued stark player development.
Right, but he can be. He has the tools to cover more real estate, and to deny rather than ONLY sticking the hit after the completion. He doesn't yet have the skills to do it, but he has the potential to be the total package. I'm not saying he's going to be a hybrid CB or anything, but he has significantly more there than what he's shown so far. Chung was never going to be more than a reliable, better-than-just-solid box safety, and good on him. Dugger can be a true hybrid safety, able to take move TEs in man or play deep zones effectively.Coverage isn't his thing...he's an in the box safety similar to Chung. There may be times he is forced to cover just as Chung was at times. Phillips is our cover guy.

Not looking good to start the season.
James White still has "uncomfortable gait" after hip injury
Patriots running back James White, who will be entering his ninth NFL season in 2022, may still be dealing with the aftermath of a hip injury that limited him to three games in 2021.profootballtalk.nbcsports.com
I love the opening of the article. It's so spot on typical of us:Successful skinny role models for Tyquan Thornton. They left Randy Moss off the list for some reason but he's the pinnacle role model imo.
Tyquan Thornton, and a brief history of skinny NFL wide receivers
After everyone has spent months freaking out about whether 2nd-rounder Tyquan Thornton can succeed in the NFL, let’s look at a few guys that did.www.patspulpit.com
Take the TOP OFF a defense
Make a defense RESPECT the deep ball
Give the passing game some EXTRA JUICE
BE A LEGITIMATE FIELD-STRETCHING PLAYMAKER
Give Brady....er, Mac the deep threat we haven’t had since Randy Moss
Finally inject some ATHLETICISM into this offense
BB signed all the safeties...so...sure, why not?Moar please.
Bill is gonna play 6 safeties at times this year. Isn’t he?
<insert maniacal laugh here>
Plus he's pretty strong for a skinny guy

White might be cooked...May be why BB signed Ty Montgomery, at least that was the common thought at the time of his signing
