Niners Queefs Superb Owl

I posted this in the playoff thread, but this thread is probably where it belongs.

Well I would never pay to go to a Superb Owl game. These prices are ridiculous. And then they torture you with a long lousy concert at half time. Hard pass.

Super Bowl ticket prices history (link)
Here's what the average ticket cost for this year's and the five preceding Super Bowls, per SeatGeek:

Super Bowl 58: $12,082 (Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas — San Francisco 49ers vs. Kansas City Chiefs).
Super Bowl 57: $8,907 (State Farm Stadium, Glendale, Arizona — Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles)
Super Bowl 56: $10,322 (SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, California — Los Angeles Rams vs. Cincinnati Bengals)
Super Bowl 55: $11,840 (Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, Florida — Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Kansas City Chiefs in reduced capacity)
Super Bowl 54: $6,569 (Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, Florida — Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Francisco 49ers)
Super Bowl 53: $5,329 (Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta — New England Patriots vs. Los Angeles Rams)
That's crazy! People with too much money. 🤑

Every time I try to think of why SF should have a clear edge, I can't. KC's secondary is sneaky good and Brock Purdy has looked a little Drew Bledsoe-y thus far in the playoffs.

Pulling for the Niners, and the Chiefs are certainly more vulnerable than they've been in recent years, but they seem to find a way. Leaning KC in this one.

So is the NFL. The singerwhoshallnotbenamed (I'm calling it. We're using that one in this thread) is already the only thing really being talked about by the media. Is she attending? Is she singing? How many times will they put her on camera or mention her? What will she be wearing?

:blah:

I don't get caught up in all that MyFace and Twatter gossip. :coffee:

Guess I'm a 49ers fan in two weeks. I would've been a passionate Lions fan if they were in it.
I didn't want the Lions to go if they were going to be facing the Chiefs because the Chiefs are winning this game. If the Lions do make it to a Super Bowl, I want it to be one where they're going in as the heavies because I want to see them win and change the course of their history. Everybody here knows how that feels, and if there was ever a fan base that deserves it it's Detroit.

I'm a big believer that certain losses in certain moments can cause irrevocable damage and stunt a team's entire progression. I think Dan Campbell is a nice story but I'd be shocked if he didn't lose a few of his superstars after that coaching performance. Curious to see how Detroit rebounds next season.

Not watching the TV is great for your sanity…
Happy Feel Good GIF

Will be pulling for 9ers but have bad feeling this will be won by the Chefs. 9ers will tease us with an early lead then Mahommes will come up big and win it and we'll hear he's the goat of goats, blah blah blah

as a precautionary measure, I will make the largest possible DingleBerry (sorry... LORD DingleBerry) casino bet on the Chef's in an attempt at Karma

I'm also leaning to KC in this game: Mahomes, Reid, KC's disciplined players all play a part.
But things like offensive schemes, imaginative play calls and solid defense are matched equally by SF, imo.
For me this is about Mahomes vs Purdy and their ability to make 1 or 2 or 3 plays/decisions during the course of the game that influence the final score.
Mahomes.

I want that Chefs insufferable fanbase to experience another SB loss, there isn't a more deserving fanbase on the planet IMO. That Chefs defense hasn't seen anything like Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuels.
