Rough start for Detroit...I figured SJ would win tonight though.

LW Simon Gagne is healing nicely from a broken toe and could resume skating as early as Friday, general manager Paul Holmgren said on Monday. Gagne broke his toe blocking a shot with his right skate against New Jersey a week ago, and the original prognosis was that he would be sidelined for three weeks. He could return for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.

You had to figure they would go down tonight...I'm sure they'll win Game 2.

Gagne would be better serve the team as lockeroom fluffer at this point...

Matt Cook up to his nonsense again...

There's no way any self respecting hockey team doesn't go after Crosby immediately now...

If you can't beat them in the alley, you'll never beat them on the ice...

lol down goes detroit

OMFG!!! WE LOST GAME 1!!! HOW WILL WE EVER SURVIVE!!!!

Sincerely,

Last round

We're playing with house money in game 1. Played a shitty 2 minutes, spotted 'em 3, they got a bunk-ass 5 on 3, and that was that. We'll get the split on Sunday and then separate in the D. A win yesterday would've been gravy, 48 hours after a game 7.
