Paparazzi find Tom and Gisele in NYC

Money isn't everything to everyone. I know Tom would give back a good chunk of the change he makes to be able to have some of his privacy back. I've been out with him a couple of times and had to abandon the evening because people were up in his grill. Money is great, but it isn't everything. I like being able to go home, grab my dogs and go for a nice long walk with them and the wife. Tommy can't do that. He asks his friends to list him under some other name in their phones lest someone get a hold of his number and post it online. People show up at his door.

Money is awesome. But it isn't everything.

yes..and he has shown by his willingness to renegotiate time and again that he lives by that. Still, I bet he wouldn't trade in his life he has been so amazingly blessed with.

I for the life of me don't really GET what people find so thrilling about celebrity or autographs? It is thrill to meet someone you admire depending on how it happens but do people think the person they are going up to is going to want to become friends or what?

Also we GET that Tom is dating Gisele and they are a gorgeous couple but what is so gloirious about getting a video or photo like that? SPLAIN RICKY!

It baffles me. I understand wanting to meet someone because I've had Tommy introduce me to a couple of guys I've always admired (Bledsoe, Law and BB) but I couldn't imagine asking them for autographs. I've only had him sign one thing ever and that was a Michigan jersey for my little brother. People are downright weird, too. I don't understand the value a photo of a famous person walking down the street has. He's exactly the same guy he was 9 years ago when he was really a nobody eating burgers at Blimpy Burger.

That said, the photo above is pretty much perfect for this:

someecards!! Hilarious site!!

MD, can you answer the age old question of, is Tom a Yankees or Red Sox fan? I could care less if he's a yankees fan but the masses are curious. Of course, if you feel like this is a question created by the very media frenzy and crazed environment you were preeching on above, feel free to just bypass me.

"Fan" is a loose term. He always liked the Giants, but followed the Yankees because Drew Henson was spending his summers there. Drew gave us all Yankees hats back in 98. I know Tommy likes New York City a lot. He wears a Sox hat on occassion as well, but I wouldn't call him a die-hard fan of either.

Personally, I'm still all up in his shit for showing up in Miami and rooting for the Heat over Detroit in 06.

Cool. Yeah, I kind of assumed that he wasn't really into baseball given that he wore both hats. I also understand wearing a friends given apparell as well. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, and we'll see you on Saturday night. No more giving Billups two frees with .01 seconds! :banghead: :banghead:

Damn, he's a good-looking dude.

Does it look like he's grabbing her, uh, hoo-ha?

Yes it doe's. hey Tom - can I smell your finger:shrug:

Thats what you get for living in New York. In Boston you have a couple yahoo's saying "great game"...maybe an autograph or 2. new York you have 200 photogs snapping like your walking into a strobe light saying "hey Tom...Hey Tom....Hey Tom. Tom. Tom. Tom. Hey it's Tom Brady! Tom Brady. Brady. Tom. Tom. Hey Tom. Tom.

Actually alot of high profile people prefer NYC because there are not nearly as many episodes like this one. Brady has often said Boston is impossible for him to go out in public in. He used to be able to, but now those times happen seldomly. Everyone remember the times with Bridget that were reported her getting up and storming out of restaurants because of the constant fans coming up to him and bugging them. That cannot be an easy way to live or a way to spend time with your girl.

If anything, the more he does on the field, the worse it will get for him off the field. Quite a trade off.

Wait to they get a hold of him when he is with his son in public. I have a bad feeling Brady might go all Sean Penn on someones arse if they get too close. That won't be good.

Tom looks pissed. I mean he looks like his chick just dumped him and called in the cameras to get his reaction kinda pissed.

Ha ha -- like he ever actually spends any time there.

Surprised he wasn't wearing his Yankees cap.

My uncle builds houses, and i got a call from my grandmother a few weeks ago saying that he was building one for Tom outside of Boston. Maybe when it's finished, he'll be there more?

I don"t care what baseball cap he wears as long as he wears a Patriots helmet the rest of his playing days.

Well said.

I honestly don't think MOST athletes (the kind like TO excepted) want to be FAMOUS like actors and actresses do. I think most of them want to play their sport and excel and never ending molestation in public is a byproduct of that...and an unhappy one to boot for a lot of them. IIRC it was tough for Brady when the Pats won their first SB because he went from a guy who could go out in public and sit and eat lunch and read the newspaper and have not one person bother him to a guy who was being pulled every which way. It seemed like that constant attention almost baffled him, as in, he just didn't understand all the FUSS. Sure, he and other guys make a ton of dough..but it is for what they do ON THE FIELD...and I don't think it is really fair to bother guys in public when they are with their families, etc. or expect that because they make good $$ that they shouldn't care about having their personal time to themselves and owe it to the fans to always be "on" for them. Yes he was out in public, but you mean to tell me that if you are a recognizable figure that you have no right to be able to go out to eat or whatever? I think he handled it well...he said nothing and didn't even acknowledge them.

It's gonna suck when Giselle leaves Brady for Romo after the Cowboys win the Superbowl.

pffff, the video that came up after it was better- two dudes that play for West Virginia with the last names of Berry and Dingle and the commentator makes the comment of "if those guys sit together, keep them in that order."

 ROFL As if. Giselle has actual brains. Romo doesn't go for the smart ones.

It's originally from the National Enquirer, so it must be true.

Super Bowl Ring for Tom Brady Means a Wedding Ring for Gisele Bundchen

Can the New England Patriots win the Super Bowl for the fourth time? If they do it may mean that a lot of diamonds will change hands. The National Enquirer is citing sources that claim that NFL superstar quarterback Tom Brady struck a New Year’s deal with gorgeous model girlfriend Gisele Bundchen: "If I win another Super Bowl ring, then you get a wedding ring!"

The New England Patriot’s red-hot quarterback is on track to take his team to Super Bowl XLII (42) – but he also seems to be rushing toward the altar. And sources close to him tell the weekly entertainment say that despite his “deal” with Gisele, no matter what happens on the football field, he is going through with the marriage.

According to a report from the magazine (on newsstands now) Tom was impressed by Gisele’s loyalty after she learned he had fathered a baby with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, a close pal told the Enquirer. “You couldn’t have a worse start to a romance than finding out your new boyfriend had just gotten his old girlfriend pregnant.”

But while the source called the scenario “a rocky time” for the couple, they eventually kissed and made up “Gisele came around, accepting that Tom had to be in his son’s life - and now she’s even planning to add a nursery for him at their new townhouse in New York City,” the source told the Enquirer.
