Yes, she was a Diva. Yes, she was a bit of a bitch. And she earned the right to be it.

A true American Icon, and one of my all time favorite singers and entertainers. She definitely stood on her own two feet, and did things her way, even sticking her thumb in the eye of her Hollywood and entertainment peers when she thought it needed to be done.

I never met her, but my wife worked with her years ago.

Godspeed Goddess. Thank you for a lifetime of the best soul music on the planet.
