Great job in this thread, Colts fans.
Any notion that I had that our Colts fans posters don't see their mission to defend Peyton at any cost and without regard to any notion of being intellectually honest, and to pretend that Peyton's foibles are shared by TFB, have been completely eviscerated.
Frankly, it's a little disappointing. Again, we can debate who the better QB is. Peyton has awesome numbers and has put them up over a longer period, for sure. I think Tom is better but I really do get why someone would say the opposite. And given what MD has said, I can even buy that he's a good guy. It's very hard to see from the outside, but I can buy it.
But between the throwing teammates under the bus, the terrible body language when things go wrong, the spats with linemen on the sideline and the recent comments -- NONE of which are common to Tom -- there is just no way that an intelligent, honest life form could reasonably argue that Peyton is a better leader than Tom, and seeing people who I respect, along with the dimwits like Mayhem, mouth these words is odd, it really is.
