The NFL fvcks it up again.

The OBVIOUS choice for the SB is Bay Area mega band Metallica.

That would have been great if they agreed to do it.

Still, this NFL would never have the balls to hire a band with real balls.

I think Roger had somebody study the demographics and found the cheapest, safest, blandest way to get through the obligation and not risk Lars dropping an F bomb or something. Hence, Coldplay. Plus, Roger's favorite song is "Rule the World". True story.

Not my thing, but I don't hate them like a lot of folks do lately. It beats a lot of the dinosaurs and other crap acts they've hired.

Anyhow, I'll be out in the snow enjoying a halftime cigar so I won't have to feel guilty if I liked them.

Heard they're doing the night before party or something. Probably more of an honor for them, being able to rock a 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hr set vs clipping a fit for millions set into 12-16 minutes.
