Super Bowl Halftime Show

Might be the first time I've ever watched an entire halftime show. Fingers crossed.

I don't think that I've seen one of them yet...

Both did most of their damage in the very early 2000s. Biggest hits:

So, basically around the same time as Maroon 5 last year. Shakira kinda sings like Pat Mahomes. :coffee:

Both bring some high-quality assets to the table. Or at least did. Shakira is 42, and Jennifer Lopez is 50.

I'll never understand why anyone cares who performs during halftime. I'm too busy socializing with my friends and family to pay more than an ounce of attention.

If I glance at the TV and see J-Lo and Shakira shaking it, that's good enough.

Did you not see the halftime show in 2001 after 911 with U2? Absolutely epic.

Since then it's been crap. My point is it can be done well.

I think I watched the U2 show...after that, I just ate food, drank booze and friends/family.

U2 used to be one of my favorite bands...haven't listened to them in over 20 years though. They aren't nearly as good as they once were.

that one was amazing, and Prince killed it.... but they are usually Meh and if I watch at all it's only to guess what people will be ridiculing the next day :coffee:

U2 has some good songs but is far from my favorite band. The 2001 half time was amazing with the names of the 3000 + dead streaming behind them while they played "Where The Streets Have No Name".

Such an emotional time. It was truly epic.

The NFL did an incredible job that year from the reading of the Declaration of Independence by the all time NFL greats before the game to this.

I'll be outside smoking a halftime cigar.

Somebody please text me if there's a wardrobe malfunction.
