Antonio Brown Faces League Discipline for FB video of Steelers post-game

Look, what Tomlin said was very benign. I would have expected a lot worse, like calling us MFers or really using derogatory stuff. A**hole is nothing, my wife calls me that all the time! It's nothing.

All coaches will do it. Bill will do something similar along those lines but off camera of course. Coaches will look for any bulletin board material they can find. Like Bill using the Eagles victory parade plans and revealing that to the team before the SB.

The issue is Brown. He shouldn't have been filming and he and one or two others were not playing attention to their coach.

I'm actually surpised at how tame that was from Tomlin, I would expect a lot worse to be said of us from all other coaches.

Maybe we're not hated after all!!

This is really starting to blow up in the media which is excellent.

On sports center they called it treason. LOL. Video is on homepage of BSPN mid-way down.

Good to see ESPN isn't in any danger of losing perspective...

I saw the video by that sweet, hot reporter that got access to Pats dressing room.
Immaculate.
But the poor guys have no fun.

they have lots of fun. have you heard Marty B lately? how about jules?

I'd be pissed that players were so disrespectful of my coach is all. you know the old saying "you're either coaching it or allowing it to happen"? That, right there.

ftr, i couldn't care less that tomlin called my team assholes. I'm more pissed that he whined about the headsets when the pats have no conttol over them.

What I thought was hilarious was Tomlin saying that THEY spotted the Pats a day and half of prep. I wonder how he did that? lol

I was thinking about this comment and how asinine it is. The Squealers would not have been in that position if they secured a higher seed. I mean there is a reason the Pats busted their butts beating the Ravens, Donks, Jets and Fins to end the season to ensure they got the top seed. Had the Steelers not decided to take the mid-point of the season off and narrowly just win the North to be the 3rd seed then they too could have had the bye and a home game and avoided the ice storm in KC and then travel to NE. But I KNOW just how much Tomlin loves his excuses ...

Punishment from Steelers coming for Brown. What will they do? Take his phone? LOL.

Mike Tomlin: I regret my language, will discipline Antonio Brown

PITTSBURGH, PA - DECEMBER 25:
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin is sorry he called the Patriots “a–holes” and sorry that Steelers receiver Antonio Brown chose to film Tomlin saying it and broadcast it for the world.

Commenting for the first time on Brown’s bizarre decision to broadcast the Steeler’s postgame locker room on Facebook Live on Sunday night, Tomlin said today that he is sorry for the language he uses, and wishes he hadn’t been shown that way in his role as the leader of the Steelers.

“The language on the video is regrettable, by me and by others,” Tomlin said, via Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “That’s why we go to great lengths to preserve certain moments and interactions between us. As a parent, as a member of the community I take that very seriously. I issue an apology in that regard.”

Tomlin also said the Steelers will issue an internal punishment to Brown, and he indicated he thinks the league may punish Brown as well.

“It was foolish of him to do that, selfish and inconsiderate. It was violation of our policy and league policy,” Tomlin said. “He’s a great player, respected in the locker room, but incidents such as this don’t help him in that regard.”

Tomlin said he hasn’t yet spoken to Brown about the matter, but will deal with it and then move on to preparing for the Patriots.

Tomlin isn't sorry about what he said, he's sorry he got caught talking trash and the blame is on AB. Punishment from the Pats will come Sunday afternoon.

I think they should sit him on Sunday.

Nope, not me.

I want them to have all hands on deck and healthy so that cheating is the only excuse their fan base and everyone else in the football world can use.

Eventually it's going to get really comical.

He'll have Joey Porter give Antonio a wedgie.

About Tomlin? When hell freezes over.

Cheers

actually they had the extra prep time based on they knew who their opponent was IF they won.

I was thinking about this comment and how asinine it is. The Squealers would not have been in that position if they secured a higher seed. seating has nothing to do with it, by postponing the game the only team who did not know their opponent was NE so they had to prep for both teams until the final score. Tomlin got the head start on planning.

the guy is a Dumbass

What Antonio Brown did is add more pressure to the Steelers to perform at a higher level. They are already facing tremendous pressure coming into the Devil's Doom chamber facing the Patriots. In the meantime the Patriots really didn't need any bulletin board material because the AFC title game should be enough motivation alone but it can't hurt to have Steelers coach call you a bunch of a-holes on live Facebook. Lol lol 49 - 13 Patriots
