Mac Jones Is Our QB1

The only fools paradise I see is the one in which fools follow Bill blindly based on decades old accomplishments. So far he has accomplished nothing, nada, ZERO, with the team that he's assembled here. Oh, we did come close a couple times, so there's that.
You do realize we are approaching the start of the 3 year anniversary of the2nd dynasty of the cap era? Do you expect to win a sb every other year like a 10 year old boy might?

No one is holding onto 2004 at all.

That's fine, I get that they are scared, and so am I, I don't want this team to suck, but you can't hide from the reality that Bill simply hasn't been good for a while now. This narrative that they are pushing that we are some project rebuilding team that's going to take time flies in the face of reality, we just spent 165 million dollars on premier talent because Bill failed in the draft, yet this team does not come as advertised, it's deeply flawed and we may never actually get to see what Jones can be at QB because he's getting the shit kicked out of him on a regular basis. Those that believe this team is going to go on some magical 8 win run are in for a major disappointment.

Scared  I've said it many times here, we had 6 SBs over a 17 year period along with a ludicrous number of Division wins and Conference Championships. We had more success in those 17 years than most teams will have in 100. If we never win another thing, I'm satisfied and will die happy. Anything else now is a bonus.

We're 4 games into the season and already you're condemning Bill and the team? Nice.

They’re like if Spaulding Smails and Debbie Downer had a child.

I know I am sounding like a broken record but so are a few people here. So, I fit right in. LOL

Mac Jon is our friggen QB1

2014 - Super Bowl victory
2016 - Super Bowl victory
2017 - Super Bowl appearance
2018 - Super Bowl victory

Sorry - you said the coach and general manager of the Patriots “hasn’t been good in awhile”?

Just so I’m clear: The Patriots won a Super Bowl 7 years ago, 5 years ago, 3 years ago, and appeared in a fourth during that same span of time.

So over the past 7 years, the Patriots have appeared in four Super Bowls and won three of them.

Can you clarify your understanding of the term, “decade”? It’s a word that objectively means a 10 year span. With that established, I’m unclear how four Super Bowl appearances and three Super Bowl victories within the past 7 years qualifies as “decades old accomplishments”.

Our Mac, you know our QB, was a child model.

You're wasting your time. They're cuckoo birds. These kinds of people have been floating around these boards for over a decade and it sort of started when NE lost SB 42 and 98.5 was essentially formed when they merged with the Boston Globe and Mike Reiss went to ESPN Boston.

ESPN Boston itself was born out of the idea ESPN could make money off of bashing the successful Patriots. It's all about money and these apparently gullible adult Pats fans fall for it, hook, line and sinker.

All of these things happened it once and it's not a coincidence. In turn, it created a creepy section of our fanbase that brainwashes itself into these odd and creepy comments that aren't based in truth or fact.

And, obviously, with this pandemic, we've unfortunately seen this play out here in real life as well. I can see impressionable teenagers falling for it because they don't know better, but adults?

Scary times indeed.
