Week 13 Gamete Thread - @Bills, Mon Dec 6th, 8:15pm EST

Putting %s on this game when there's another game 3 weeks later seems silly to me.
It really isn't. After head to head, the second tiebreaker is division record. The Bills win this one, the worst they can or at least should do in the division is 5-1. The Patriots lose and that would be their second loss in the division.

For the record, Corey Dillon was my guy, I followed him in College and all through his career with the Bengals and Patriots. When he signed with us, I almost died, I was so happy. Mondre, reminds me a lot of Dillon, that's just my opinion though.

And if they don't, they can just win in Foxboro 3 weeks later and we're right back to where we are. That's why I've been saying, if they Patriots are a real Super Bowl contender, they need to sweep Tenn/Buf/Indy/Buff. If they don't, it's just a nice story with hope for the future.

Corey Dillion was fantstic in 04 and 05. Another great trade by the worst GM in the history of the world (2nd round pick for a 1st round pick who had 1000 yards in eleventy billion straight seasons and still in his prime). :coffee:

And, they will.

Dillon was fantastic for a long time. He was such a punishing runner.

Also, should be in the HOF. If Terrell Davis and Jerome Bettis are in the HOF, then Corey Dillon, the latter playing on atrocious Bungles teams with no QBs for years, should at least garner consideration.

Bettis averaged under 4 YPC in this career, for example, yet played in a much better environment than Dillon.

Can you imagine if we had Dillon sooner? It's depressing seeing how political the NFL HOF is. My memories of Jerome Bettis are running few yards forward and being tackled for a minimal gain.

Bettis had a great nickname. That's the answer for the HOF.

Bettis and Davis belong in the Hall of Very Good... maybe.
