Looking At The Patriots 2022

Yes. He was god awful. And that was 2 years ago on a team with better coaching then what he has now.

I remember that. I said he is capable of doing what Cooper Rush is doing. Will he be able to? I guess we'll have to find out.

It is terrible roster management to have Hoyer as the back up especially when you see a guy like Cooper in Dallas. Bill has some crazy penchant for hanging on to vets that is mind boggling at the most important position.

I just saw a stat on Curran’s show that Brian Hoyer is 0-11 in his last NFL starts. Hoyer is a bad QB.

40 runs please, give the rock to Stevenson and Harris and a ton of Jonnu screens and Meyers/Bourne slants.

This was Cooper's stat line from Monday.

Cooper Rush 21/31, 215 yards, 6.9 avg., 1 TD, 0 INT, 0 sacks, 68.5 QBR, 98.2 Passer Rating

We'll compare Hoyer after Sunday and remember Hoyer has the better run game than Dallas.

In 2020 when Newton got hurt, Hoyer lasted 2.5 quarters as NE's starter and he was not only benched the rest of that season....

Hoyer never dressed for another game in 2020.

Yet Bill keeps resigning him as his trusted #2.

Those that can’t teach he’s a great instructor from what I’ve heard.

He should be a coach and not on the roster.

Hoyuh is TERRIBLE...come on now, everyone knows this. He will be a great coach, he is smaht. But, he was cooked years ago.

If Mac is gone for a while, the Pats aren't doing anything in 2022. And that's OK. They weren't really going to do anything with Mac this year either, but...

Hoyuh was and is loyal to BB...BB will hire him when he retires to coach. Just wait. He's actually probably the QB coach now...

Evan Lazar asked Marcus Jones what he thought about returning punts.
MJ said that NFL punts are a lot different from his college experience. The NFL punts are much higher and drop with that much more speed. In college he caught a lot of line drive punts that were returnable. It's something he's getting used to.
