According to the Boston Globe Rask can return to the bubble but will need to quarantine before he can resume play. Assuming the B's want him back which may be a stretch considering this is not the first time hes has done the disappearing act on the team. Has anyone heard any specifics on why this time? Halak looked good except for the what the hell was that moment. The team really came together for him. In Halak we trust.

I am about to the point of saying Tukka can go screw. I know he is good but to bail on your team in the middle of the playoffs seems a bit messed up unless there is something else going on.

That’s been refuted.

During the broadcast Jaffe said he’s gone for the duration now.

I hate to speculate, but I will.

The way he fought through, made the perfect feed over to Bergey, then jumped to celebrate - immediately wincing and toning down the excitement- leads me to believe he’s dealing with some sort of core/possible sports hernia type issue. I think they’ll try and manage it, it’ll continue to flare up, and he’ll likely end up needing surgery.

Huge momentum shift in this game with Debrusks goal and Clifton ties it!! Let’s go B’s!!

Insane 4 goal outburst in 4 minutes!!!!

Carolina gets a greasy one late with Reimer out but the Bs prevail!

Playoff hockey ROCKS!!!!!

Reimer was the victim in net when Bs got 3 in the 3rd and Bergeron drilled the OT winner Game 7 vs the Leafs back in ‘13.

He’ll need a therapist!

I'm cautiously optimistic but I remember peppering Binnington last year in Game 3 (?) and watching the Leafs make a change. Thought for sure the B's had it wrapped up.

The hit on Staal was reminiscent of the McAvoy hit last season (almost the exact same spot) on Anderson. Brutal. Wouldn't surprise me at all if they review it and give him a game. The elbow seemed to come up a bit.

Disagree.

Slo mo frame by frame showed direct shoulder to sternum contact. The elbow rising is just secondary momentum induced.

There’s been no post game chatter that I’ve heard. He’s fine imo.

I almost hope there is something else going on. if not - he should retire and let the bruins move on.

that his was a thing of beauty, IF Staal has a concussion I think you may be right. The way he was firing off gloves as he left tells me it is something else.

Doesn't Staal have a concussion history? Clean hit no elbow but damn solid contact.

He does.

But don’t let the media narrative lead you. That was crushing shoulder to sternum, with the elbow rising only in reaction to the momentum shift. A beautiful open ice delivery. No league discipline, as there shouldn’t be.

It’s impossible to ice your heart, especially when Chuckie just ate it.

The first thing that popped into my head when I saw the hit was Mo Lewis!
