Congressional Hearings on Spygate

There was never an open case in the first place. Spector just made a statement. He could have said that he farted and it would have had the same impact.

your not too smart midgar...are you ?

He quoted with reasoning for his 42 page statement....he reserves the right to keep this case open upon new evidence ... He only had the opportunity to interview only 1 of a possible 20 + indivduals involved in this 7 years of illegally taping opponants...

I truly can't wait to see all you fans someday even 2 or 3 maybe even 5 years down the road when somhow maybe Estrella or the other camerman comes forward or Drew Bledsoe or Damen Huard cracks and says something to re-open this thing....

because you know & I know if you put the people involved, the camerman, Ernie Adams, Belichick*, Charlie Weis or Manngini etc...under oath its all over but the crying for you folks...

who quoted? Are you talking about that 90 year old eagles fan? He has enough to worry about right now, plus he said he dropped this thing about 5 months ago. Sorry people dont go under oath in court for rules the NFL makes. ROFL

If congress wants a statement from you in any hearing, it'll be under oath...."wake up" and at least make believe you know what your talking about....and Specter never dropped this...he said until new evidence comes up it will be open...not to mention hes too busy trying to kiss ass to keep somewhat of a political career no matter what party hes with....

I actually hopeing he loses the next primary and maybe he'll have time to fvck these assholes...and persue an open honest investigation as he suggested...how sweet would that be !!!

Why would congress want a statement about a NFL rule? Do they want to know if the guy really held on the run play too? LMAO

midgar you can't no matter how hard you try just wish this away ,....it happened ...they got caught.... and then they covered it up to minimize the damage to the NFL...

you keep trying to compare this to an NFL rule...and worst like "Holding" or " Offsides' ...so tell me...when was the last time you have seen so much negitive press because of a holding call....or maybe a Jet flyby over your stadium with sign Belichick*** is cheater because welker went offsides ...has congress ever gotten involved in a Pass interferance call ?

It is an NFL rule, the NFL made up this rule, it was not voted on by congress, the NFL could come out tommorow and say hey you can use camera's now. The nfl made this rule, just like they make rules on free agency or cap numbers, or how many players you can have on a team. Its an NFL rule, nothing more. When was the last time I saw negative press over holding calls? After every superbowl, I see people all over crying about losing, just like you do. I see it every single year. Congress didnt get involved in this, someone that worked for congress who was an eagle fans started crying until he was shutup and told to stay out of it. He did.

Its not as bad as holding, because with holding you had an impact on the game, but by the placement of the camera on the sideline instead of in the stands, you only gained a better view of something. It didn't impact a runner or player directly. You'd have gotten the information anyway, it would have just been in a different manner. See if you can process that one.

So what happens next year when Specter loses his election?

And as for the rest, won't ever matter. The penalty was paid, it was all an inside-NFL situation, and had nothing to do with federal law.

You know, a high school education would work wonders for you.

And I suppose you all also believe the referees never favored or threw a game like they did in basketball and got caught ?

Hope that never comes out either...

Midgar & Patsrus...in regards to both your last posts...minimizing Spygate as only a camera being in the wrong place bullshit...Please...here let me post once again the letter from Roger Goodell and the NFL to the cheating fraud Patriots...its alot like the letter he sends every player that holds & goes offsides during the course of a game...Get it !!!

"This episode represents a calculated and deliberate attempt to avoid long-standing rules designed to encourage fair play and promote honest competition on the playing field," Goodell said in a letter to the Patriots.

Numbnuts, there is no case. You don't know the difference between a statement on the Senate floor and an investigation. I'm not surprised but maybe you should go back and listen to your "School House Rock" records so you can learn about how the government works.

I'd suggest holding your breath until that happens. Even if it takes a long, long time.

I know it was just a statement but he also started his own and wanted congress to expand the Investigation...do you know the differance...I think just the fact Sen. Specter questioned and interviewed the NFL Commishioner and delt with the NFL's Attorneys and interviewed parties that were directly involved ...yes Cleat does mean there was a congressional investigation....and by a co-chair of The Judiciary Committee...and now its a documented fact...

"Honest investigation"? You do know that he is a paid thug for Comcast right? That his "investigation" was only to pressure the NFL into negotiating favorable terms for the NFL network on Comcast? Funny once they got back to the table..Specter went away.....

Of course you do...it just doesn't fit with the lunacy you spew.

Let me blow a nice hole thru this story ...At least I try and have some kind of credible information backing my statements...I guess the fact Sen. Specter requested or should I say simply suggested that the NFL have its own independant open investigation...an investigation in this would not include network negotiations dippo...and if something like that did happen...Specter wouldn't be responsible for that...he told the NFL they own the fans an open investigation inxtead of a cover up with no answers

You truly are this stupid...amazing.

You truly are this stupid...amazing.

Specter couldn't get congress or Sen Leahy from NE by the way to support his investigation...Specter told Goodell to have one...!!!!

How does this have anything whatsoever to do with comcast & negotiated deals?...your pathetic...and besides just guess who the #1 man in charge leading in all network negotiations for NFL ?...

A: your guessed it Bob Kraft...
