  • Seriously, is it me??? The guy is an absolute freak, I swear. I mean, he's definitely a combination of Boris on Rocky and Bullwinkle and Snidely.
I'm OK. Work has just become much more time consuming. I still read occasionally but don't have the time for my half wit, smart ass remarks.
By the way, meant to thank you for your suggestion of Abe Books in that books thread. Just did my first order there today. Awesome site!
Another example of how useful it is to have someone over the age of 30 around here to exchange stuff with. We lived in the same world - gone now, but not forgotten!
LOL sorry BT, I HAVE been quite lackadaisical in dumping it out. Your wishes are much appreciated. :)
Tim, I was just busting balls a little about your porn garden. I really think your place looks very nice.
But I've grown into an avid gardner and definitely appreciate when the flowers are in bloom. Great shot - as are some of the other ones you've posted in the last year or so. Always look forward to them.
I figured it was a shot in the dark that you'd get it as I didn't recall ever seeing you post in the Walking Dead thread. The show is about a zombie apocalypse and they refer to the zombies as "walkers" - never zombies. There is an episode where it's revealed a farmer is keeping a herd of zombies in a barn on his property.... Hence the reference.
The 'daughter of tragedy' aspect of her life does become tiresome, and tends to overshadow (for some people) her accomplishments and her talent. I can only imagine how her kids feel when their mother's life is reduced to her frailties and the exploitation of her demons. As the years go by, she is increasingly appreciated as an unparalleled talent, to the delight of countless Judyphiles. We're all very protective of 'our Girl', and we're so thankful for the body of work she left to us. I remember when the Red Sox won the ALCS, and were slated to play the Cardinals in the WS; they played Judy singing "Meet Me In St Louis" over the PA system, and that thrilled me more than the Red Sox victory!
At first I bristled a bit with the lyrics about pills and found it maudlin, but I loved the overall sentiment.
Explain to me why you love this car racing thing? I live in the heart of it somewhat and I just don't get it.
lol I am great, hope you are...no worries about the avatar, I am sure its made its way around pp!!
