How dare Bill does something that makes a difference for the area.Bill to his huge credit, has a proud history of recruiting people of immense calibre who do a lot more than just play the game.

So I guess it was BB who told Mac to either step backwards or sideways, when throwing down the field for an interception.Yes, BB should have been allowed to trade Mac. I agree 100%.
Would have been better for all involved if he had. Especially the players that had to deal with the consequences of Kraft interfering. BB made sure failure was the only option.
You don't have to want or like Mac as a player to see what happened now.
You don't have dislike BB (he is the GOAT) to understand what he did either. It is obvious. It is not the first time BB made a seemingly emotional and poor critical thinking decision that cost the entire team. When it comes to BB you must take into account the genius and doofus decisions.
Malcom Butler says hello.
I'm not going to pretend that Mac didn't get his head beat in due to Bill Belichick decisions for two years so you shouldn't either. So I guess it was BB who told Mac to either step backwards or sideways, when throwing down the field for an interception.
i don't agree that bb ruined him. but...no matter what your boss does, you should always do the right thing. he didn't.I'm not going to pretend that Mac didn't get his head beat in due to Bill Belichick decisions for two years so you shouldn't either.
But I bet you will. The pull to go along with the masses is strong in spite of what is obvious.

so what exactly do you think bill did to ruin him? hire patricia? you may have explained before but i don't recall.Agreed.
The problem is that Mac Jones was a rookie for all intense and purposes. He didn't know what the right thing was to do. All he knew was that he was having his legs cut out from underneath of him, and rather than put all of his eggs in the leg cutter basket (i.e., Bill Belichick) he reached out to the folks he knew he could count on. He certainly could not count on Bill Belichick at that point. Anybody who thinks he could is kidding themselves.
Bill Belichick is the greatest coach of all times as far as any intelligent fan is concerned.
His handling of Mac Jones is the low point of his career and outlines his occasional/emotional decision-making that cost the Patriots at least one Super Bowl, and maybe more.
All of that said, I wouldn't trade him for any other coach to include the last couple of seasons. Six Lombardi trophies is ridiculous!
Mac was absolutely part of the problem. He COULD grow from the experience, but will he though?i don't agree that bb ruined him. but...no matter what your boss does, you should always do the right thing. he didn't.
Why are you still defending a bust . He never progressed As Edelman pointed out. Kept making the same Rookie mistakes & throws repeatedly. Best of luck on his next teamAgreed.

I don't know. I just looked and he still has New England Patriot under his name and is following their page. Now I didn't check to see if the Patriots were still following him or not.Apparently, Mac has stopped following the Patriots on IG.
$If you were Dugger or Big Mike why would you resign with the Pats?
Install a defensive coordinator as the offensive coordinatorso what exactly do you think bill did to ruin him? hire patricia? you may have explained before but i don't recall.
I pointed out facts. You can call it "defending a bust" but that doesn't change what actually happened. Ignore it if you want, it's still a quasi free country. Why are you still defending a bust . Just because something seems obvious to you, don't make it true. We're all posting our opinions. You just don't realize that.I'm not going to pretend that Mac didn't get his head beat in due to Bill Belichick decisions for two years so you shouldn't either.

i'm starting to think thatMayo sticking the boot in again at the presser! He was saying they had a history in NE of duplicate roles and having a small staff, and you can't win in today's NFL like that.
Steady on Jerod, you've overseen precisely zero games as Patriots HC. And that HC and his style that you and Kraft are taking swipes at continuously brought 6 Lombardis to the team.
Dude. You can't be pretending you didn't see what he all saw... You can HATE on Jones all you want, but you saw what we saw.Just because something seems obvious to you, don't make it true. We're all posting our opinions. You just don't realize that.
What I saw was him stepping backwards or sideways, (instead of into the throw), when he threw picks most of the time, and I'm reasonably sure that no coach was telling him to do that.Dude. You can't be pretending you didn't see what he all saw... You can HATE on Jones all you want, but you saw what we saw.
