Apparently, Patriots coach Bill Belichick does not appreciate when members of his organization make financial demands of him. He proved as much when he shipped star linebacker Jamie Collins to the Browns in the midst of a contract dispute, and he definitively proved it again when he sent his sons Steve and Brian (both assistants on the New England coaching staff) to Cleveland immediately after they asked for extra allowance.

"All my kids receive generous signing bonuses when they turn five."

“It’s a family matter, we’ll handle it in-house,” the elder Belichick said gruffly to the inquiring media.

Are Tom Brady and a flukey 7-1 start masking the fact that Belichick is losing the confidence of New England players and fans?

I regrettably clicked on that.

Why anyone posts a link to give a douche like that clicks astounds me.

It's one thing if you stumble on that stupidity. Just copy and paste the whole piece of trash so the guy struggles to feed his family and moves on to another inane employment option.

But to willingly promote him and his work? No thanks.

I actually made a point of displaying the entire link, to make sure people got it. By default, the forum won't display the entire link, after X number of characters.

(where X equals some number that I'm too lazy to look up)

That article is 100% spoof, and it should be obvious to anyone with a passing familiarity with football. You need to unclench your sphincter. It can't be good for your health to get this worked up over people joking around...
