boring troll is boring...This take didn't age well.
They pretty much have to win this weekend or the 1-4 finish is really going to darken the impression. The narrative will turn to they merely ran into a lot of good fortune for a 7-game stretch of opponents riddled with injuries and COVID. There's a lot riding on this wild card game and a trip to the divisional round may be the least of what's gained.
No one really cares what the media narrative is.This take didn't age well.

The story of this season as far as I am concerned is Belichick rebuilt the team in one year and got to the playoffs with a rookie qb. If they win here, it's gravy as far as I am concerned.
I am pleased with the season and optimistic about the future.
brady has his own forum, check it out please. It took Buffalo a million seasons to reclaim the division because Brady absolutely dominated Buffalo, and the rest of the division, and the rest of the NFL for that matter. Brady lost merely 3 games to Buffalo in 20 seasons as the Patriots starting quarterback. Since he left, it took the team 2 seasons to equal those 3 losses.
Belichick drafted a 1st round quarterback and obliterated the previous record of money spent on guaranteed contracts in free agency. So far it's netted a dubious 7-game winning streak surrounded by a 2-4 start and a 1-3 finish. If you choose to ignore everything beyond beating Buffalo in a wind storm then I suppose you can feel good about a fictitious 9-4 season.
Saturday night is about validation for the entire season. In the opinion of many this is just the reality of the situation. Hopefully they're up to the challenge.
chevss, this is a near-sided take, but I think you know that. Some teams take years to climb back in contention. Some never do it at all. Before last year how long did it take Buffalo to win the AFC East?
Their most recent to last year was 1995. 25 yrs.
Let them crow while they can but they know the Patriots run over the last 20 years has been historic while their fans have been breaking tables and bones and throwing dildos.
And next year might well turn out differently.

Ralph was a cheapskate who only wanted to win so much in his later years. The Pegulas on the other hand... they want to win.
Say what you like, being the beneficiary of having the GOAT will enable you and the base to say many things that may be marginally true. You can take this to the bank though... as long as Allen is in the division, you guys are going to have a mighty tougher go of it.
ok thanksIs anyone else having an issue with the sight?
~Dee~
Yes, sighted, thanks. Auto correct can be a pain sometimes.I think you mean 'near-sighted'. You don't think Kraft and Belichick want to win?
Tell me, when does Allen's cap hit increase by leaps and bounds? Is it next year when it goes up to $40M then $42M in 2024 and $51M in 2025? Yeah, that's right.
I hope you enjoy seeing all those great Bills players end up as cap hits. Pats fans lived it for a long time. It's not fun. Pushing the cap hits into the future only work so long.
I feel confident about the competition, Foxx.
