Pretty sure they're keeping it conservative. Don't want to put Mac in a position to screw the pooch this early in his career.

2nd good outing in a row for Mac.

Our run D has to improve.
RT has to get squared away. Protection has to improve and run blocking needs to show more line push.
WRs can do more...have to do more.
Jete D is pretty damn good.

On Jets Nation before the game, Zach is better than Mac.
During and after the game, we should have traded down a few spots and taken Mac.

Not the prettiest of games, but once again Mac outplays another QB picked higher than him. This could start becoming a trend.

Defense looking suspect against the run. Pass defense definitely gave Wilson fits, so that's the plus of it. A lot of stuff to improve, but nice to come away with the first W.

Look at Mac running into the pile to try and help Harris at the goal line for the TD.

All good points made so far.The truth be told though ,why was'nt this a 36-6 game.The line needs to protect Mac better so he does'nt get gun shy.Mac is solid , no arguement.But....he's still a rookie and needs time to develop with out picking up bad habits.The final drive ?.Its BB and conservative is the mantra BUT ,throw the damn ball once !.Why ?,two reasons. 1 ) You want to build Mac's confidence and the O's in him.He's the Capt. of the ship , give him a chance to show he can do it.2 ) Why not ? ,this was a scrimmage match , so go for it and see where your strengths and weaknesses are.What was the worse scenario ? , we end the game with a 23-6 win.

Not disappointed with the game , but they can and must do better.Failure to capitalize on RZ opportunities is glaring and won't see us in the playoffs if they don't squash that bug.Defense is playing with heart but at moments seem to get hit with confusion/indecision.The Saints got creamed,so expect them to be ugly.Let's put some dings in those halo's !.
