Forfeit? Wow. Hopkins is an unhappy guy right now. NFLPA is standing idly by twirling their collective thumbs.

I've read about several cycling accidents lately. I believe former Celt Ray Allen was also in one but is okay. I do a lot of cycling but stay off the roads. Just not safe for biker or vehicle.

And the biggest penalty of all for players: "If a game is cancelled and cannot be rescheduled within the current 18-week scheduled due to a Covid outbreak, neither team’s players will receive their weekly paragraph 5 salary." You read that right: NOBODY GETS PAID.

Soooo.... which actress? :coffee:

Oh, it wasn't me engaging in such misogynistic behavior. I may have said something along the lines of "Well, that Pam from The Office is kind of cute and seems like a nice girl" just
so the other fellows didn't think I was a prude.

The Jets assistant coach Greg Knapp has died after his bicycle crash. Terrible news, he was only 58. RIP.

If Rodgers retires this year he can un-retire and play next year.
It's looking more and more like this is what's going to happen unless GB comes to their senses & trades him.

That may be the deadliest paw in the business.

Cheers

First, Chris Sims is on suicide watch.

Second, another notch for Brady on teams/QBs he ruined/stopped from becoming a dynasty after he beat them - Fivehead Colts, Steelers, Seahawks, Falcons, Mahomes Chiefs, Brees Saints and now Aaron Rodgers Packers.

Third, Rodgers is a massive ego maniac/drama Queen who’s had ample opportunities to win championships. Yet, he has the same amount of NFCCG & SB wins as Tampa Brady. One of each.

Don’t get me wrong: if any of the QBs on the Patriots’ roster gets us one SB, I’d be overjoyed. But they aren’t the “best Qb in the game”. Remember, AR was considered the best at his position by so so many while Brady was churning out a second set of rings literally beating him this year at his place when he was league MVP ...

Huge disappointment as a player, considering his talent and circumstances. 1-4 in NFCCG games, same as McNabb. He can retire.
The League will still get ratings while he’s hosting Jeopardy as he pays back GB roughly $40 mil and his roster bonus and anything else he's collected thus far. And he's supposed to be the intelligent one, right? LOL

Lastly and most importantly,

Rodgers isn't the most likable person, agreed, but put him on the Pats today and the 2021 Pats instantly become legit SB contenders.

It will never happen but I'd love to see what Rodgers could do in the Pats' system with great coaching and a great scheme with great game planning.
I don't think he ever had that in GB. McCarthy was no BB. LaFleur is better but 2 years isn't enough time.

Yes, TB12 played well and Tampa won the NFCCG but it was close enough to go down to the wire.
Let's also not pretend that Rodgers' weapons were near what Brady had or that GB's D was as good as Tampa Bay's.
I still don't know why LaFleur didn't go for the TD with 2 min to play. Bad mistake.

You still think this is about football. It's not. Rodgers can't get past his personal issues with mgmt despite as you say him having a team that went down to the wire last year on the brink of the SB.

There is no team for him to be traded to that will give him a better chance to win the SB than GB. There is no better coach or system for him than LaFleur who helped him be league MVP last year at age 37.

If he actually retires he will have the distinction of being the only player in team sports history to do so after being league MVP. And why? Because his feels were hurt.

And you want him on the Pats??

If you're asking if he can play the game, then, yes, I think he can play the game.
To him, moving up to draft a QB was personal and he responded with an MVP season.

How do you know it's a "personal" matter and not football related? Do you have access to his shrink or you're just blowing smoke like you usually do? Proof would go a long way.

There's clearly an irreconcilable issue now between Rodgers/Adams and management. I took the Rodgers/Adams picture on IG as saying they will play on while having a GM they despise the way MJ and Pippen did with Jerry Krause.
