We had very much a penalty free zone in the Div round, the refs let them play. Let's hope for more of the same in the CGs.

As Ras stated, this is highly overrated in the playoffs given that they are "all-star" crews. Since crews stay together during the regular season, they develop trends and take some direction from the referee. We can get a good idea of how the game will be called, in fact, BB studies those trends.

Many on Sunday's crew will be working together for the first time. Each will bring their own tendencies and that makes it more difficult to predict.

Yeah. I have never got all bent out of shape over a ref crew for the playoffs. They are the best refs from the season that all get put together. I like Ed, think he is a good ref. I think the game will be fine. Pats have to get off to a fast start and take the fans and element for calls out of the equation.

But please, talk more about how Broncos fans make excuses as though you are all above that. I've noticed Patriots* fans are generally pretty good at ignoring evidence when it doesn't fit their preferred narrative.

I'm 48 years old and been watching football since 4, and that was one of if not the worse officiated game that I have ever seen. Truth

We dont cry about refs every game by the way, but that game was a crime. Im sure you were pretty happy to see us get fvcked though.

Its ok I'm over it because he who laughs first doesn't always laughs last.

As I said earlier, I didn't come here to address this at all. One of you brought it up, badly, and required correction. Then another one jumped in, also badly, and next thing I know I'm trying to teach you all your own history.

I was initially commenting on the hypocrisy of painting Bronco fans to be whiners who would undoubtedly complain about officiating in the upcoming game in the event of a loss when Patriot fans had littered this place with exactly those types of excuses not even two months ago.

It would be good if you all lived by the expectations to which you hold others.

I can say that without saying the Ref's cost the pats the game, most believe that fact. Pats lost because of missed opportunities and mistakes not because "the Fix" was in - as a very small % claimed. It was not injuries, ref's, it was execution that cost the Patriots the game.
