Two recent commercials make me see red...

1. Att Mobile with the Mom telling kids the old minutes are still good.
They have done a bunch of these and maybe Mom should bring her idiot son for testing, take away the phone and then start slapping the moron.

2. The older guy for the motor oil whipping people and screaming use your dipstick Jimmie!
Let the beating begin.

Speaking of commercials, I just saw the Jenny Craig one with Valerie Bertinelli in the blue bikini.

Holy crap. :hump:

So now I'm watching the Original Recipe (a/k/a Episode 4, a/k/a A New Hope). Thre more you pay attention to what the characters say, the more you realize how the later films don't fit the backstory. It's not Lucas's fault, since the early dialogue was made up of throwaway lines and Lucas wasn't planning to build five more films around those comments. But stuff like Obi-Wan saying he didn't remember owning a droid, and C3P0 not remembering anything, and Obi-Wan telling Luke that Owen thought Anakin should stay on Tatooine and not get involved, et cetera... none of it fits the characters, or the timelines, or the age of the characters. The comments about Anakin being a "great pilot", the fact that Leia remembered her mother when Luke didn't... you can go on and on. While it was nice to see the end battle of Episode 3 and watch Hayden get encased in the suit, IMO it would've been better if the last three films had never been made and he'd simply stopped at "Jedi". (It would've also saved us the creation of Jar-Jar, or the horrible acting and dialogue of Natalie and Hayden...)
False. It's all Lucas's fault and if there is any justice in this world God will punish him for it when he dies.

I post a bikini, and you drag up an old post about "Star Wars".

Know how I know you're gay? ROFL

2 thoughts.

1. Thank GOD I'm finally done with this research paper.

2. GOD annotated bibliographies are boring. Whoever thought of them should be punched in the face.

I switched from Budweiser and vodka to to wine. I like it.

How does a car insurance quote from last week go from 1482 to 1801 for the year? Apparently this other lady (not my usual rep) said those were the 08 rates I got last week. I said ok but I ASKED about my 09 policy why would my rep give me 08 rates.

In Florida, my parents' insurance almost doubled for no reason. Car insurance is such a big friggin' scam. They WON'T let you drive WITHOUT it, yet you have to pay through the a@@hole for it. $1801 for a year?!? WTF? That's $150 a month!

Down here in RI, we just got our renewal bill. Around $1100 apiece for the Smart and the Hyundai, and another $700 for the Saturn (which has NO collision or theft, and is even classified as a "low-mileage car" which supposedly makes it cheaper). @$^& me! Why should you have to pay almost $3000 for car insurance?!? For that matter, why should you have to pay additionally for more cars? It's the same driver, isn't it? Criminal mother^#&$ers...

Just an FYI, the average cost of a non injury at fault accident, is around $5k

Regarding additional cars, your car insurance does not actually insure the drivers. It insures cars. There are circumstances where the insurance would cover you in a car not on your policy, but usually it's the vehicle owners insurance who pays

It's actually cheaper than my last car LOL

Well I wanna have good coverage cause god forbid anything happen I don't wanna be paying up the ass for damages. Like when my window got broken I paid nothing for that. Also when I returned my lease they didn't realize the car mats were not there LOL

Plus since it's financed there are some coverages that I NEED to have. If I were to move out of Lynn and to say Danvers or Beverly or even Lynnfield my premium would drop a good amount too. Oh well. Progressive came up with 644 for 6 months. But there is no option for 0 deductible on glass and I thought that was weird? The lowest I can get is 100 deductible on glass.

Does anyone feel good when draft pundits say the Pats did well in the draft?

If so, why?

We wont know if this was a good draft for about three years and judging the draft without looking at related free agent moves in any one year or really, period of years, is pointless. It's all one stew.

Because our team is so deep I think we will know sooner than later... If we get a couple of guys starting for this team this year it will be a good draft... I do think we ended up with 5-6 starters eventually and I wouldn't be shocked to see a couple of future probowlers, but time will tell... Personaly I think this will be one of our best drafts ever and will help keep our team strong for years to come...
