Mark Sanchez to the New York Post responding to Joe Namath's comments:

Sanchez's message to The Post was that Namath and everyone else should just take a deep breath.

"The sun came up, we knew it would, and there's nothing wrong with going 15-1," he said. "I'm confident in our scheme. Nothing changes [because of Monday night]. It's way too early to hit the panic button."

I don't think this is all that bad especially considering this feels much like the persona the NYJ have taken on since Rex Ryan took over but maybe if I had a 2.9 YPA after the loss, I wouldn't be touting a 15-1 record going forward. Just sayin'.

He should read the gang green forums his fans don't agree with him ROFL

He cared more about not throwing any INTs Monday than actually winning or losing the game.

Sanchez is right about 2 things: the sun will come up and Namath "I want a kiss, Suzy" should be quiet.

Next week they'll be writing about 14-2 a possibility... :coffee:

On First Take this am they were talking about how after a game of checkdown mania NOW RR wants Sanchez to take more shots downfield. Bait him, secondary boys!

Sanchez reminds me of the Black Knight... :coffee:

The Jets should take a deep breath, and STFU for a day or two...

They talk the talk, it's unclear if they can actually walk the walk.

Psst, hey "Sanchize", YOU are the reason why the Jets are "and 1" today. Look in the damn mirror. You are the last guy who should be beating your chest today. LOL Typical Jests.

This.

The Jets are going into their game with the Pats convinced that they have to open up the offense and take their shots downfield. Last time Sanchez tried that he had more completions to Leigh Bodden than to his own guys.

Imagine if any Pats player talked about going 15-1 after putting up a stinker of a performance. Absolutely unthinkable.

The Jets should be renamed the NY Stoirtap's. They really are the anti-Patriots.

I expect that the Devil would be putting on his winter underwear at that point because it would mean hell had frozen over.
