Signed RB Donald Brown

Doesn't score a whole lot. Had 29 receptions on 41 targets in 2014.

He has 2 career kickoff returns for a total of 29 yards.

Start a pool to see if he makes it through camp?

I remember when he was drafted in 2009 Rd 1 #27 and I hoped so much that the Pats would consider scooping him up but they passed him by. DB is the all time rushing leader for Connecticutt. He is an extremely explosive RB and also very versatile. I watched him a little this past year in some Bolts games and he's going on 29 this April 2016, he has ALLOT left in the tank from what I saw. He is a bigger version of Pats RB Lewis with very similar skills. It still remains to be seen but I believe he will be VERY beneficial to the Pats, as long as they get their OL issues resolved to be able to open holes. :coffee:

TC cut . He been nothing but a jag his entire career . The 3rd down / Passing catching RB. Are white & Lewis .

No, he isn't/wasn't.
I watched 7-8 UConn games that season prior, and although Brown was the best player, he was never explosive or a game changer.
And his NFL career has proven me correct.

And he's nowhere near as quick as Lewis. He's not known for having a quick cutback style.

Okay if you say so BUT DB's 40 is 4.51 and DL's 40 is 4.57.

I don't know what friggin UConn games you were watching his last year at UConn, but this certainly provides some direct proof of his explosiveness if you watch this whole highlights clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRCKzj0SNDE

In conclusion, if you need to know where this kid's heart is at check this out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtJ...i54mXwZGHSdKbZajp45KN9wgefJT0DAA2G-XSwoei3-3Q

Over and out

FWIW, I thought Brown played a lot better the last few years than he did when he first came into the league with Indy.

I didn't even bother looking up the stats, so I could be way off base, but I just thought he ran a lot harder and was more decisive.

Oh, right, because 40 times say it all. DB has never shown the moves that Lewis did last year. Ask any Indy or SD fan.

I'm not sure he's better than LG, but whatever.
He isn't. Brown has been a decent back if he isn't called upon to often but he just isn't the kind that gives a threat to break it. That may be why the most carries in any season for him is 134. He has ok hands but will not take anything from Lewis.
