The Wells Report

Amazing. After all this time they conclude that most likely someone intentionally took exactly 0.75 psi from each Patriots ball (comparing the averages of Colts and Pats ball drops at half time) to gain a competetive advantage.

What a clusterf#ck this is going to be.

The Wells Report doesn't prove anything, too much conjecture and guessing in that report. But we'll be hearing it all next season how the Patriots cheated in 2014 and how they don't deserve the Lombardi, yada, yada, yada.

Pats are innocent until proven guilty and Wells' report did not prove they were guilty.

A lot of this doesn't appear to be good.

The report is claiming that the time McNally was in the toilets was enough time to put a needle in the footballs and deflate all the footballs in the bag. McNally they are saying removed the bag of footballs from the officials room without permission and Anderson claimed this was very unusual and never something experienced by him before.

The Patriots balls drop in pressure was significantly more as well than the Colts footballs.

Conclusions
With minimal training (a single practice run), it is possible for an individual using a standard sports ball inflation needle to perform the following in approximately 60-70 seconds: open a door and enter a room, close the door, open a zippered bag containing 13 footballs, insert the needle into all footballs releasing a small amount of air from each, close and zipper the bag containing the footballs, and leave the room through the door, closing the door behind.

The main effect of team is estimated by the average change in pressure between the start of the game and halftime: −1.202 psig for the Patriots footballs as compared to only −0.469 psig for the Colts footballs. Therefore, the average drop in pressure measured for Patriots footballs was more than 0.7 psig greater than the average drop in pressure measured for Colts footballs.

The texts between the equipment guys are pretty damning, IMO.
Brady has dropped several notches in my estimation in the last couple of weeks.

Didn't expect this to be the case, but it is. Sucks.

Lets be clear. THERE IS NOT ONE, NOT ONE PIECE OF EVIDENCE that has TB demanding air pressure under NFL allowable levels.

Based on the number 12.5, but if the Coltd prefer a 13.2 ball they drop the same.

I will never get how if PSI is not a documented # by refs before every game, how in the hell can anyone be convicted of anything? And if it is such a serious offense, why don't they require documentation to ensure compliance?

If Brady is telling the truth, then not only he, but also Kraft, need to get busy preparing for a very strong reaction.

If Brady did indeed lie to the league (and, by extension, to Kraft) then I fear this will not end well.

The league knew of a concern prior to this game, why did they let McNally take the balls if it was so unusual?

Lol:

[The Colts equipment staff] also cited unspecified chatter throughout the League that the Patriots prefer their footballs softer than other teams and that visiting teams should be on guard when playing at Gillette Stadium.

GET THE FVCK OUTTA HERE. This shit is too convenient

They are basically saying Tom wanted those balls 0.75 psi underinflated. I just don't get it.
