Watson....

Buzbee said that one of the masseuses was referred to Watson by a member of the Texans organization and another by his private quarterback coach Quincy Avery. He added that one of the accusations against Watson concerns an incident in the last month and that it happened after Watson was aware of the allegations being made against him.

Shouldn't this be something he tells the jury?

At Friday’s press conference, the lawyer representing at least nine women who allege assault by Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson will release copies of the lawsuits filed to date, along with “multiple texts” from Watson.

On Thursday night, attorney Tony Buzbee released one specific chain of messages. Frankly, it proves nothing.

The lawyer is filing for a grand jury. This could get pretty ugly for Watson and jeopardize his career. I still believe this is coming from the Texans. If he is not going to play for them then they are going all in to get him on these charges which in fact may be very real.

Well, his price is dropping fast, certainly. Will anyone risk pulling the trigger?

Based on the way that the suits are piling up, my prediction on team Watson's break the glass in case of emergency defense tactics:
1. Have Watson make a heartfelt statement that he's a sex addict and currently seeking help to overcome it. Watson then enters an inpatient sex addiction program.
2. Watson makes a general apology that doesn't imply guilt, and apologieses if anyone was hurt while battling his addiction.
3. Stresses that any and all sexual contact was consensual.
4. Hire detectives to go scorched earth on the claimants looking for any shred of evidence that they have or may have provided massages with extras in the past.
5. Release information to the press via back channels to paint claimants as money hungry whores that will do anything for money.
6. Quietly push for a group settlement.
7. Hire contract killers to take care of folks that may have qualified to file suit but haven't yet and claimants that haven't joined the settlement group.
8. Settle all remaining claims.
9. "Successfully" complete the sex addiction program and have doctors declare him as cured.
10. Have Watson declare as omnisexual.
11. Go on Oprah.
12. Force trade to Jets.
13. Advise Watson to keep his nose clean as he doesn't yet have the Epstein money needed to fake his death, have extensive plastic surgery, and restart his life as a Disney executive.
