Week 2 - Pats @ Fins 9/15 1:05PM

Their team is bereft of talent and those who remain are looking to get traded. We have a better team than we did last year, and it's a more favorable time of year for us. We've got a locker room distraction to add fuel to the fire. I see us covering, easily, to the point where I'm strongly considering betting a relatively sizable amount of real cash on this.

Practice update

The way Brady throws...the way his arm arcs through the air.... is so beautiful.

Yup.. It's kinda tricky to throw that spheroid thing. That's why there are different styles and grips. It's also why Brady has worked on it with a throwing guru/expert over the years. The forward pass has come a long way. ;)

This game is full of pifalls. First is overestimating how bad a team is after 1 game. Everything went bad for them. Flores might get them jacked up to fix some of that. This game could mean a lot to Flores.

Next, Fitz is a veteran. He can chuck it around pretty good . If the Patriots get casual on defense , watch out.

Third is what is the damn mystery of playing there and losing by this team? It might be in Bradys head so he's cautious. Also Bill might be conservative with the game plan. IDK.

Fourth is the Antonio brown factor.. is he an inspiration or a distraction..:huh:

If I were you, I'd be all over Miami. Big thank God .... .

BB has a presser at 11. I may have to tune in to see if anyone has the balls to ask about AB and the lawsuit.

O/U is the only thing about this game I would touch...and I like the under.

I wonder if Miami sits him so he doesn't get hurt before they trade him. If we weren't so deep at corner...

Defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick, one of the roster’s few good players, has reportedly asked for and received permission to seek a trade. The news was first reported by ESPN and confirmed by the Miami Herald.

Fitzpatrick’s dissatisfaction goes deeper than this team blows and so I’d rather not be here, though of course that’s part of it. But Fitzpatrick, the 11th overall pick in 2018, is more annoyed by how the Dolphins are using him: basically, everywhere in the secondary, even though Fitzpatrick strongly prefers—and grades out as the NFL’s best at—one specific role.

Just one question asking if he was concerned about AB and his social media habits, he just passed over it. Lots of football questions and he was very verbose and upbeat.

Looks like AB will be playing

Damn. Why of course. Why didn't I think of that. :coffee:

Patriots, 74-0

Shula watches from the press box with his completely full colostomy bag, while the Patriots set the scoring and margin records on the Dolphins in Miami.

Oh, and Miami Native Antonio Brown scores 3 TDs. Former The U Receiver Phil Dorsett chips in another 4. It's a shame James White's not going to be there, because he'd be good for a couple.

Fuck Shula. Fuck Miami. Fuck the Dolphins. :coffee:

Does BB dial it back in the second half because it’s Flores, and have something to yell about in practice next week/ keep egos in check?

Yeah, I've wondered the same thing. I don't see BB dialing it back but maybe we see subs in the 4th - I'd like to see Stidham, Meyers, Olszewski, AB & Damien Harris a bit.
