We had the feast yesterday.
dried meat and cheese platter
olive and pickeled platter (varieties of cured olives and pickled veggies.)
shrimp cocktail
fish platter (platter of anchovies, calamari, pickled octopus, etc.)
breads and crackers
fruit platter
homemade meatballs and fresh made italian sausage in homemade marinara
main course
filet mignon wrapped in peppercorn bacon
marinated turkey tenderloin medallions served on watercress in a lemon garlic reduction
shirtsleeve's tuna surprise casserole (surprise! no tuna. Just main lobster, king crab, backfin crab meat, wild sea scallops and wild jumbo shrimp, in a shrimp cream sauce, topped in course bread crumbs and butter.)
spring green salad in a red wine vinegrette with capers and feta.
roasted baby red potatoes in goose fat, rosemary and thyme.
desserts were Italian Christmas cookies, cakes and panettone.
The panettone has my name on it for french toast in the morning!
