AFC Championship, Patriots at Broncos, Sunday Jan 24, 3pm CBS

With the amount of trash talking from the Broncos, it is easy to see that they are worried about facing the Pats

Ya it's just weird, quite frankly. They have a very good defense that's been carrying the team all year and THAT is the side of the ball that's publicly begging the refs for calls?

http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_29420067/broncos-weather-chance-snow-during-afc-championship

The Denver Broncos may battle a little inclement weather as well as the New England Patriots during Sunday afternoon's AFC Championship game.

National Weather Center Meteorologist Bernie Meier said the Denver area could receive around an inch of snow after 2 p.m. The kickoff is at 1:05 p.m.

"If any snow falls, it'll be about an inch," Meier said.

He also said to expect some light rain and high gusts of wind later in the evening.

Football fans can expect temperatures in the lower 40s at kickoff, dropping to the mid 30s by the time the sun goes down.

Good for the Pats, wind could be huge for Pats Defence.

At Caesars Palace sportsbooks, five times as much money has been wagered on the Patriots compared to the underdog Broncos. At William Hill's Nevada book, 85 percent of the money bet was on New England. The story was the same almost everywhere. Barring a dramatic rush of game-day money on the Broncos, Vegas will be a big Broncos fan on Sunday.

The Westgate SuperBook was one of the Vegas books to have posted early lines on the potential Super Bowl matchups. The Patriots are one-point favorites over both the Panthers and Cardinals. Carolina and Arizona are both three-point favorites over the Broncos.
The SuperBook currently has the NFC -1 in the Super Bowl.

Derek Wolfe became the latest member of the Denver Broncos to take a verbal jab at the New England Patriots, saying "I hate everything about them" in a recent interview with the Denver Post.

Wolfe and the Broncos will host the Patriots in Sunday's AFC Championship Game, and this past week has featured a war of words between the longtime rivals.

"I hate everything about them," Wolfe told the Post. "They're always in my way. They're always in my way to get what I want."

Wolfe has spent his entire four-year career with Denver and has faced the Patriots five times, including the 2013 AFC title game.

"I've got a ton of respect for the whole organization," he said. "They've got great players. Tom Brady's a great player. Bill Belichick's a great coach. I've got a ton of respect for them. I just hate them."

Broncos defensive end Antonio Smith and cornerback Chris Harris Jr. also made headlines this week with their comments about the Patriots.

Smith told reporters that it "would be an accurate statement" to call Brady a crybaby while Harris said the best way to defend Rob Gronkowski is to "hit him in his knees," prompting a response on Twitter from the Patriots star tight end.

:coffee:

I used to be a big fan of Brady's because I admired his ability to be 199th in the draft and be an amazing player but cheating rumors squashed that for me and I want him to lose. The fact that I live in Denver has little to do with it.

Welcome cinnamon girl, perhaps we can help you learn the truth of those rumors. :)

Manning's cheating rumors must have destroyed you, then.

But you'll support that cheater?

Funny how things like that work.

I have never been a fan of Elway, ever since he weaseled his way out of being drafted by the Colts and forced the trade for Denver.

But when I learned about how Denver was fined (twice) for cheating the salary cap while Elway was QB, then both the player and the franchise became dead to me.

Right.

So 0 evidence on Brady and he's guilty.

HGH shipments were sent to Manning's house when he was recovering from neck surgery and threw for a record 55 TDs in 2013 but you don't think he's guilty. Then the NFL started testing for HGH in 2014 and Manning fell on a cliff.

Good logic right there. :coffee:

Well, I guess I miss spoke alot of them were not rumors about Brady and Belichick. And Al Jazeera announced they are leaving the US right after they wrote that story.

I'm betting against it, frankly. :coffee:

I bleed orange and blue. Colorado native. I admire those who are good at what they do but I don't admire the other stuff.

I'm pissed that the Patriots never violated the salary cap. Wtf BB

Is that a comment on the 1998 Broncos Super Bowl win?

Refs better not let this game . Get out of hand like the steelers bengals game . Anyone could see refs couldn't control both teams. It cost the bengals the game in the end
Talib is more likely to poke an eye than any patriot player.
