The Patriots are preparing a beatdown of epic preportions today.
In Indy, in front of the leagues best and most knowledgable fans the Patriots will be humiliated and harrassed.
It is becoming clear that the rest of the country is tired of the Patriots and will cheer a Colt victory.
I don't see how the Pats can even compete with the Colts.
I see Touchdown drive after drive, the field strewn with winded and wounded Pat's.
At the end of the savage beating, the Patriots are piled up on the Colts logo and set on fire as the fans point and laugh.
We have no chance, there is no hope. None.

Feeling the sting of being called "classless", The team decides to class up their image and rather than wear the typical, boarish uniforms/Pads getup, they all show up on the field wearing black Tuxedos, complete with cufflinks, top hats, and canes.

The results are not pretty as by the middle of the first quarter 40 of the 53 man roster are out injured. Peyton Manning, being the epitome of class that he is, doesn't rub it in and limits the scoring to 49 points. Just enough for him to get the SB record for touchdowns. That's not rubbing it in since it had meaning dammit!

The Patriots lose, but feel good because they showed everyone that they do have class.

This is the year that Manning and Dungy do it. It is all set up. They are clearly the better team and will have an easy Superbowl win over either NFC team.

The Patriots were a nice little story this year, but that is it. The Dynasty is just dying a slow death is all.

Upon finishing off the pie (and the Patriots), Vinatieri finds Colvin at mid-field after the game and and mocks him profusely for wearing an Andy Katzenmoyer jersey.

If anyone reads the Indy press they would know what a class act Manning is. What with all the charity stuff he does. Whereas the Pats are just a bunch of classless jerks. And karma rears its ugly head on the Pats this week. They get their punishment for making fun of poor Merriman. And Manning & Co are the ones who dish it out. Continually and in abundance.

Manning is on fire. He can't miss. He hits Harrison 15 times for 206 yards and 3 TDs. Addai runs all over the Pats for 231 yards and 3 TDs. Throw in Dallas Clark's 2 TDs and 4 FGs by Adam... Not to mention that new vaunted Colts D stops the Pats at every turn.. Sanders gets 4 INTs, 2 of which he runs back for TDs. The Pats can only manage 43 total yards of offense before Freeney knocks Brady out of the game and only 12 more yards with Vinny in.

As the final seconds tick away ( finally, for the sake of the Pats) the entire Colts team, including Dungy, run out onto the field, dressed in gray Patriots' hoodies, with the sleeves cut off, and throw headphones into the air. But it is not seen as classless, as it is the very classy Colts doing it, and everyone in the country feels that Pats deserve it after their extremely classless actions against the classy Chargers.

The Colts go on to Miami while the Pats just go away, heads hung in shame....

What promised to be a ratings bonanza for the networks turns quickly into a dismal flop as viewers across the country are compelled to turn away from the bloodbath that the Colts inflict upon the Patriots. While the nation at first enjoys the carnage, the totality and brutality of the annihilation is too much to take. The overly physical Colts demolish the smaller, slower, and weaker Patriots into utter submission. Final score:

12 Pats suffer career ending injuries. 14 others are forced to leave the game. Troy Brown plays both ways and Chad Jackson is the only bright spot for the Patriots to build on for next year with the only catch of the day for the Patriots, and that was for a loss of 2 yards.

I heard from an inside source that, in preparation for the playoffs, Belichick sent a team to California last month to locate and bring back Tony Eason for an intensive conditioning and training program at Foxboro. Apparently he plans to totally confuse Manning by starting Eason in the game and replacing him with Brady in the second quarter. We are brilliantly doomed!
