I called both Claire/Kate and Jin being on the Board

the screaming sounded like Labor and Jin survived but Michael was allowed to die because he completed his mission with the explosives

I'm not so sure that Michael's dead. Walt still has, in my opinion, a major role to play. There's something inherently creepy/powerful about that kid, and he'll have to return at some point.

I am assuming Walt is on the Boat waiting for them to head back

thus the 3 year time lapse

Oh, agreed. It'll be interesting to see if Michael is dead.

What I'm kind of curious about is, once the Oceanic 6 return, does that mean that the time-travellers will be automatically caught up in time? After all, the island starts shifting in time for them right away, but in terms of constant time they'd have to time-travel for 3+ years until the 6 come back. However, perhaps they'll simply have them shift in a shorter amount of time, and then the 6 will return, causing them to merge with the constant time of the 6.

Confusing.

Did anyone already bring up that Miles, the Asian psychic, will turn out to be the son of the guy from the Dharma training videos?

I am starting to hate Lost.

it's like how a Heroin addict hates Heroin but can't wait for his next fix and then after he fixes, he hates heroin again.

It's on Season 5, right? There's still one more season after this one.

Bingo! I hate myself for liking this show.

And to show how screwed up it makes me, I think Walt is Jacob. You never see him (Jacob) do we?

We saw him once. Wild speculation is that Locke is Jacob.

Yep; I called that when it turned out that the couple was Asian.

I turned to my wife and said, "Aw look, baby Miles."
Plus, the comment last night from Faraday about Miles having spent a lot of time on the island already.

That sure look's like Locke..

Gotta love a country where people complain because TV shows make you actually think. I enjoy the show quite a bit.

I realize that this is likely nitpicking, but they are having what I consider some major inconsistencies regarding what shifts and doesn't shift during a flash.

The entire camp by the beach didn't shift during the flash, including the items that were on Oceanic 815.

The guns they got from the others and the canoe they were in did shift. I fully expected them to end up in the water when the flash in the canoe did take place.

So is the key thing where the object originated or is it proximity to those who are shifting?

If the latter, then why did all the other people, and the stuff they were carrying, who were near Locke, Sawyer, etc. not shift during the flash?

Yes, I'm sure it's just that the writers aren't concerned about the detailed physics behind what's going on, but since there are very few things that happen on this show by accident, I don't know if there is some deeper meaning behind this

I guess if they're touching something, it shifts with them?

Nope.

There have been flashes where their packs were on the ground and they still shifted with them.

Hmm. Well, as intricately detailed as this show has been, I can't imagine they would overlook a detail like this, but it's possible.
