Steriods which were not outlawed in the NFL until the late 80's And every team took them....so you can stick that arguement where the stickum should go.

Every team took them. lol, so why are the steelers known for them? Oh wait let me guess, because they were good and more people paid attention....gee....I wonder what that feels like. Maybe you should go listen to your former coach talk about spygate and what other teams did sometime.

You mean known because the sad ass Jim Haslett wanted to sell books?
Terry Bradshaw said he took them for pain relief.......of he took cortisone shots........yep

Everyone took them, every team .....legally.

Cowher made those admissions as an employee of cBs and not when coaching....which would make him lose $$ due to him being a dumbass for not changing his signals over several years.....cowher is a ****ing duntz

Oh by the way......who got caught breaking the rules again? Patriots......

Why is the next scandal gonna break.......I'll be on it like flies on cowshit

Enjoy your empty championships and your fake owner stealing your money

You're an intellectual idiot.

No, they weren't legal.

They were, and are, illegal thanks to federal law. So no, in the U.S. in the '70s, steroids were not legal by law.

Steroids have always been illegal dummy. lol, they were just not testing for them. Speaking of which, how about that HGH doctor that was on your team for 15 years? Did your coach not trip a player, is that not breaking rules now? Its funny you scream that all teams did something yet, on spygate even though several coaches said they did it, you say it was only the pats. lol. You are a typical steeler hypocrite who is jealous of the patriots who have kicked your teams ass for the last 15 years, which is why you came over here in the first place.

Oh in case you forgot...." Richard Rydze, a Pittsburgh Steelers team doctor from 1985 to 2007, was indicted in 2012 for his long history of purchasing and illegally prescribing anabolic steroids, human growth hormones and painkillers. The physician was also charged with health care fraud for falsely diagnosing more than 90 patients with pituitary dwarfism so they could receive human growth hormones and drugs meant to counteract the side-effects of steroid use. Dumbasses, all of ya. Saying the entiree Steelers team took them in the 70's was basically someone trying to say Patriots cheating was ok :)

NFL: The NFL banned substances policy has been acclaimed by some[18] and criticized by others,[19] but the policy is one of the longest running in professional sports, beginning in 1987.

US:

Nov. 18, 1988 - President Reagan Signs Act Outlawing Non-Medical Steroid Sales

As part of his War on Drugs program, President Ronald Reagan signs the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1988 (115 KB) , outlawing the sale of steroids for non-medical purposes.

You have courson and haslett on the record talking about the 1980's and courson first started with the steelers in 1978....HAzlett talks about the time they were still legal in US and NFL.

Stop with the insanity here folks. And you all read the court documents on Roethlisberger right? Probably not.

Ridze's timeframe for his stuff was 2007-2011 and it mostly centers on HGH

Keep defending the wall asshats

Hey its fine that your team is known for steroids, I mean someone had to be. Shame that it killed off a lot of your players though, but the HGH doctor? I mean come on, isn't that pushing it a bit. Good thing you let him go before they had testing down in the NFL.

I think the Pats not submitting any rules proposals this year is a sign of the withdrawal. Who knows what else is happening behind the scenes. But Bob will not be there to save the day next time these barrel of moneys are in a ditch they can't get of.

I truly hope this concussion cover up which is picking up steam as I type this sinks their collective 32 butts.

Here's what the cold hard facts are. Krafts ways with his fellow owners have worn themselves out. They will continue to do it without his help as they've done it for over 80 years. I am positive they've told him to either fall in line or you're going to sell it. I hope he tries the Al Davis route....It will make for more shit to talk about. The NFL isn't the most squeeky clean organization, but hell or high water if you're not with the 32, you're done for.

The Pats' ways since 2000 have rubbed the old guard the wrong way and yes the comeupance is sweet. Their success has been gained illegitimately and the Patriots value is also built on brittle shale of shacanery. Keep paying the highest prices in the league while the Krafts are laughing while you go thru the turnstiles. Enjoy your red letter jerseys asshats!!!

Yeah. It's just the Krafts. Not like those saints in ArmPittsburg.

WE are all sheep, and YOU are so much smarter than us.

We will continue to enjoy our jerseys and continue to enjoy watching our team win the division year in and year out and contend for a 5th Lombardi.
