OK Everyone- Belly up to the table, shove all your chips in, and proclaim where you think Peyton Manning will choose to go to next.

Me? I say the Broncos...A longshot for sure, but one of the easier routes to the playoffs for Peyton.

I keep flipping but I'm going with Arizona.

Ok, I will give a reason of why he will not go to the following teams to make my guess.

1. Miami...no. Philbin took over as head coach, he is a former OC of the packers and I am pretty sure he knows his stuff, and I think it would be an easier transistion to get Flynn in there who he knows.

2. Jets...no...Manning will not want to, and frankly it would cause a huge circus to have Peyton in NY with his brother, and frankly, its a mess down there.

3. Houston...This one got a lot of play because its the pom pom people who want to see peyton get back at his old team, plus they seem the most ready...problem is, they already have a top 10 QB who is younger. Houston is set for the most part barring injuries, no need to rock the boat, and not sure they have much money left.

4. Denver....don't see it, the fans love Tebow, and putting manning in is really going to cause a PR nightmare, and I do not think Manning wants to be a part of that.

5. Niners....yeah sounds like a great spot, but Harbaugh is head strong, he likes to be in control, and frankly with Peyton, he might not be. They won with Smith, they know smith and they saw success, hard to just scrap it all for a guy who you do not even know will work in your system well.

6. KC....this one has play, but then what about Cassel, and the playcalling there is pretty set. Its possible, but I think they are more than just a Qb down.

7. This leaves Arizona as the teams that could be interested, and I think this is the best bet....its a dome team, they have good weapons, they are a good team, good coaching, and money will not be an issue once they cut Levi Jones and clear up 17 mil. They can then let Kolb go who they owe 7 mil too if he is on the roster March 14th, and he can go back to philly or wherever. Fitz is a hard worker, Manning will be able to have everyone on his side going forward to try and make it work.

I'm going off the board and will say Dallas or Tennesse..

EDIT:Fleger and Mazz are saying he won't go to the NFC according to several sources..

No way he goes anywhere that isn't a dome or warm-weather

I could see him going to one of those teams, realistically, but I think he'll end up making some outrageous decision like going to the Buccaneers or Titans or a team like that.

I'm not officially ruling out Seattle. For some reason I can see him willing to lineup in Pete Carroll's "Pumped & Jacked" offense.

Miami makes a lot of sense. They are close to being really good, he has a home there, his wife likes it there, they are living there now. Ross has said he wants Manning. Philbin would be nuts not to embrace Manning.

SF would be perfect except for so many things, Harbaugh only being 1. With an 80-90% healthy Manning they could win the NFC.

Ariz. could be the jackpot.

Manning will go where he wants to go.

I heard Dungy say yesterday that Manning wants to be comfortable where ever he goes. Oh, and he'd like to win a SB but being comfortable is most important to him. I'm like :insane:. Maybe Miami and facing NE 2 times a year won't be comfortable enough for him. Personally, I'd love him in Miami to renew the rivalry.

Like I said the only issue I see with Miami is, Philbin is the new coach and a former OC who might want to install his system there. That would not really fit what Manning wants to do. I am not sure a brand new coach who just came from a silly great offense and was the OC there is going to scrap his system for one player.

I could see Daniel Snyder offering him a boatload of cash to play for the Redskins. I'm just not sure if Peyton would want to be in the same division with his brother.

I still think the Jets or Miami make a lot of sense, though. There's also a rumor floating around that Reggie Wayne may try to follow him where ever he ends up.

if I was him, I go to zona without even thinking about it. He is off in his own little area, he is in an easy division, in a dome, and he has the best wideout in the league, and no Qb looking over his shoulder or one that he ran off.

Miami or Arizona are, imo, the only likely landing spots, and I think Reggie Wayne wants to come home to daU as well. Bring in Saturday and slide Pouncey to guard and suddenly that offense is pretty potent. I'd prefer to see him in AZ but suspect Miami is where he'll be.

This. With a proper QB, the Broncos could do well.

hmm. Manning should be cap friendlier. Trade Ben for a 1 and a 2 or 3. Everyone here agrees Peyton is better anyway. Compete for a SB and repeat the '74 draft! Everyone be crappin their britches. I like it. :coffee:
