So there's a game on I guess

Just got to get this on here. I know, I do this every year in some for or fashion.

BUT WATCH OUT!!!!!!!

Seven exclamation points have meaning.

About the only 10 mins I caught.

I didn't even bother looking for a stream after last week's crapfest. Guess I'll check some sites for recaps, but saw no reason to deal with the hassle of internet viewing when Game 4 is basically Last Gasp for guys struggling to make the roster.

Looking forward to Game 1 of "real" Patriots football! May our team come out sparkling!

90 yd TD run, and I'm still falling asleep. Holy crap this is some bad football.

How good did the giants rookie qb look?

Put an L in
place of p in Paulette.

He was not accurate. Resulted in a couple of picks, and a few more pickable balls beside, as well as missed connections on what could have been massive plays when the Giants WRs had a step or two. Final stats 8-of-19 for 118 yards with a touchdown pass and two interceptions. Why, have some vested interest in the guy?

For the record, it's not like Etling did better. He did get that 90 yard TD run (and all told finished w/ 113 yards on the ground), but as far as throws several were sailing hard, a few reflected poor decision making, and all told he finished 18-of-32 for 157 yards with a touchdown pass and two interceptions as well.

I went out last night and didn't see much of the game but, one guy had a bunch of tackles last night, has made a number of flash plays/explosive hits and is a credible special teamer with experience. Nicolas Grigsby.

I keep mentioning these guys who primarily play STs because those are the guys that sneak on the roster when folks are playing attention to draft picks. Grigsby is on the smaller side but is probably our fastest LB.

We need bodies at LB and I haven't seen much promise from Christian Sam.

Harvey Langi and Marquise Flowers haven't played at all as far as I know. Langi showed promise last summer but got in that bad car crash. Maybe we can PUP him or something.

I thought Grigsby is a lock, in the Ebner mold. Now he may flash more potential as a role LB than Ebner as S, but I think his spot is defined: STs

Brandon King has been on the squad for a couple of years as a pure ST guy and can't give you snaps at LB at all, but I really think Grigsby can contribute to the rotation this season. I don't know if he can cover anybody, but as I said-- the guy runs really well and will hit folks so maybe there will be an increased role on D. Stay tuned.

I'm pretty confident the venn diagram of people who watch the entire 4th preseason game and serial killers is just a circle.

Just so I’m clear you’re not technically a serial killer until you get to 3, right?

Oh man. If we FINALLY get a LB that can cover a RB Wheel route I’ll be a happy camper.
