Random TB news that doesn't warrant a thread

👏
only quibble...he says tb became that way in tampa. i say he was becoming that way in n.e., leading to his wanting and getting out. the 2018 season transition to more run/play defense culminating in the sb won the same way was probably the final blow.
i agree 100 percent. he makes me puke.

He's so far gone...totally lost touch with what is important. I'm embarrassed for him.
Brady needs mental health therapy.

He's changed so much.

There's so many things to criticize him for but that is so overblown. He used a piss poor analogy but he's obviously trying to say he has to put all his focus on his job ahead of spending time with his family. Of course the big difference is that's his choice, a soldier doesn't have that choice(unless they chose it as a career). He should have just retired and walked away Larry Bird style instead of allowing this typical build them up tear them down media crap that everyone buys hook line and sinker, that TMZ headline is an obvious example. Deployment doesn't mean going to war, it can mean going to Italy for a desk job. Everyone is so damn sensitive. If he was actually comparing it to deployment to hot military zones then I take it all back but I highly highly doubt that, he's a diva not a moron.

Bucs center Robert Hainsey, on Tom Brady's sideline rant to offensive line Sunday: "I love that from him. I know we all love that from him. It might look weird on TV, but that's football. That's what you want from great teammates and great leaders, and he's the best there is."

I really don’t. Brady was a minor point in a larger context of discussing both Mac and Zappe. To me those types of post that seek to analyze things deeper are the whole point of message boards. Literally no one took issue with it other than aloyouis who takes issue with everything but refuses to keep me on ignore by his own admission.
Okay, I took you off ignore because there seemed to be so much flap going on that I was curious.

EVERYONE who loves the pats, considers themselves Pats fans, hopes the Pats do well, and looks at them with optimism at the start of each year when all teams are 0-0 sees you as a butthurt follower of Saint Thomas the Pure as opposed to TFB the greatest Patriot of all time. Just because we don't answer every post of yours does not mean we don't take issue with your constant sniping about everything BB. Give it up. Let it go. Brady is gone. Go haunt some other forum. You can make this forum a thousand times better simply by not showing up.

Your signature clearly shows your mindset:

Tom without Bill = 30-12 regular season, 5-1 playoffs, 1 SB ring
Bill without Tom = 39-38 regular season, 0-1 playoffs, 0 rings

Be a PITA if you want, but don't pretend you don't know the difference between trolling the membership and discussing players.

The irony is that pretending she doesn't know the difference is just more trolling.

Oh c’mon, stop making excuses for him, which you’ve done in the past as well.

99% of Americans think “war” when talking about deployment, and clearly Brady was referring to that as well.

It was a fucking stupid thing to say. We all know it.

I'm with Jay on this one, seems like a poor analogy that the media is looking to get milage out of. War analogies in football are nothing new, and this didn't even go that far. It's pretty weak.

That said, I agree that he seems to be coming apart at the seams a bit recently, and can't catch a break...except from the refs. He certainly didn't make it any easier for himself. But I think we need to recognize that what is now showing as mental instability is not different from the tweak that made him TFB, except situationally. The single minded focus and determination, the need for competition and victory, and supremacy. As in most fields, the things that make you uniquely excellent often hurt you in "regular life," and even on your field when the situation doesn't line up to put you in a position to succeed.

Like I said, if that's actually what he meant I take it back, but I don't think he meant it that way. I'm no defender of Brady normally but for this give me a break. People can't see past their hate for him to look at it objectively.

I'm so emotionally confused right now, you agree with me which makes me feel good, but Mazz liked my post which makes me feel icky inside.
