Brady Officially Retires (?)

Threads merged.

Very happy to hear Tom will retire a Patriot, as it should.

Time for the prodigal son to return home.

Could be a hell of a Patriots party in Canton in a few years! Gronk will likely go in so they could be inducted in the same class.

if Jules got in as well it would be awesome.

Well, I guess that's it. Hard to believe it's over. As much as I wanted Brady to retire with the Patriots, I was happy to see him continue to dominate in Tampa and transform people's minds at what is possible for an athlete in his 40s. He will always be an inspiration to me and I look forward to seeing him continue to kick butt in whatever he decides to do post-career.

Jesus, he hasn’t told Arians or the Buccs yet!

All is forgiven Tom! Mr Kraft, send down the plane and bring him home!

If there's a 'Roethlisberger Retires' thread in this section, there damned well be a Brady retires section.

Per the Head of the Brady News Division Adam Schefter.

The best to do it, and the best who ever will do it. :coffee:

Could be TB decided better to hang em up a year too early than a year too late.

Can't think of another pro athlete (other than golf) where 44 years old could be argued to be a year or two early. But, he is the GOAT. I would have liked to see him beat the Chefs one more time in the Super Bowl, but he's done it all and it's the wisest decision.
