That looks like a good list to me. I would add Roger Craig, though, to the 49'ers winning decade team. Also, Willie McG remains a big Pats fave of mine.

And nice to see you, Roach!

My favorites, including some non-Pats. #1 is clear, though.

The greatest football player ever.

While the run around 2 min even is the closest thing to a "child please" moment the nfl has experienced, the run that starts around 3:25 is simply wood inducing.

Personally speaking, my favorite NFL (Non-Patriots) player is Vernon Davis. I feel that he's improved tremendously over the years and it's awesome to see that transformation!!

This is a tough question... really tough to answer.

May I just narrow it down to a few players from two teams:

My original, hometown team - Buffalo Bills: Bruce Smith, Jim Kelly, Andre Reed, Daryl Talley.

My second, other hometown team - New England Patriots: Christian Fauria (of course!), Adam Vinatieri.

CarrollsMine99.

Moss. He has been my favorite since he was drafted. The day he came to the Pats I almost cried.

Pats:Tedy, Willie for past players and Wes and Tommy.

Non Pats: HANDS DOWN Larry Fitzgerald.

For me, it's Jim Brown. He averaged over 5 yard per carry, and over 100 yards per game for his career.

I love these comments from people who played against him.

Right now, Troy Polamalu. Mr Hair. Even when he gets dragged down by it, lol. Dude does some amazing things on the field. And then there is off of it... Met his wife and kid at a homeless shelter here in SD last month. Just got to say, the Polamalu family is good people.

Strictly a laundry rooter. I've had guys I enjoyed watching and others I rooted for (usually because they were underdogs or scorn by the fanbase) but NE could cut Brady tomorrow and it wouldn't faze me.

I imagine it would for the fact that the team might have become worse. I think people grow to become fans of players on the team because they root for them on the team. There are players that have left, I still really like, others not so much. If the pats cut welker tomorrow, I imagine a few people would be upset.

Welker is the exception. He is the one feather in my cap, I said NE should trade a 3rd or a 2nd for him early in the 2006 season.

I can't believe it's been 4 years since I was right about anything.

I am sure you have been right a few more times since then. There are players that I would not want to leave, and others that I would be fine with, but it has to do with history and what they have done for the team, it would also depend on why they left and where they went. It is amazing though that I can feel so indifferent about a player and love them when they get here, like Moss.
