Oh this very much, my guess is he's far too tight-assed to lighten up a little. But if he did something with a clown shirt, I'd have to give him props for it. It would kill me.. but I would.

My local NBC affiliate, WTHR, just pulled itself off of Directv and Comcast/Xfinity. WTHR pulled this same garbage a couple of years ago on opening night of the NFL. They are greedy little scumbags that try to use the football season as leverage for cable and satellite providers to pay them more.

Thankfully, I have a quality HD antenna because of them pulling this in the past. They can still eat a mountain of horse s**t.

I was thinking something similar, but I had it at 75 yards, as the opening kickoff goes for a touchback.

But your prediction is more likely to be correct, if, as I suspect will happen, the Patriots get an initial five yard penalty for clowning around.

It's a new penalty this year that only applies to the Patriots. It's written up in the double-secret probation penalty book provided to the officials by the Commissioner's office prior to the start of each Pats game.

Maybe the ONE thing Goodell could do to ease the abuse would be to wear one of the T shirts.

It'll never happen.

I'll bet sales of Goodell Clown shirts would be big in Dallas. :coffee:
